Delightful! This was my first digital camera and I have never regretted buying it. Yes the 1.3 MP resolution is low, and yes the 1-inch LCD is really too small for just about anything. But it's half the size of a Snickers Bar! And its simple to use and surprisingly rugged so you can just slip it in your pocket and always have it handy. The design is beautifully intuitive. Just slide open the metal cover and the camera turns itself on. Slide it shut and it shuts off. What more do you ...

I have owned this camera for about 8 months now. I paid $550 Australian. I love it, as do my friends. 187 pics on a 64 meg card, I can snap away at anything. The pictures look very good, and I have printed many with no problem. I love the look of the U60, though! Problems: The included charger is no good. takes too long. I bought a Sony fast charger ($70 australian), and it charges the batteries in only an hour. much better. The camera sets automatically to auto-focus on startup. I ...

I purchased the Sony dsc u10 about a month ago for my girlfriend and she loves it. It is perfect for beginners as it not too complicated to use. It is a reliable point and shoot camera and very compact so my girlfriend can keep it in her purse. Of course the picture quality isn't that great, but it fairs well for a 1.3mp cam. I am kind of regreting not shelling out an extra $100CAD ($70US) for the u20 2mp model, but hey, it's too late for that now. Nevertheless, if you're looking for an ...

After read lots of reviews, I bougth this camera and I was a kind of worry about the quality of pictures, but have to say that I really like the quality of the pictures. Look perfect to me. Outside pictures look very good, indoors pictures sometimes are kind of grainy, so is not the big deal. If you wanna camera to take anywhere, this is the one. Problems: Have to wait 13Hours in order to get the batteries charged.

What ever you do in life ignore Andy G's review of this camera. The guy hasn't a clue what he's on about frankly. He moans about the alkaline batteries going dead in 4 minutes. if he'd had bothered to read the book it states quite clearly that alkalines are not to be used. Why do you think they put re-chg with it dummy!?? i work in Digital sales and for all the "micro cameras ive seen this camera does exactly what it supposed to, which is a: be super pocketable B: be easy to use. I ...

I just bought the new U20 which isn't listed yet on this site. - IT IS TERRIBLE!! - I put in brand new AAA batteries (not the rechargeable ones) to see how long they would last (since my only purpose for this camera was out of the country trips at times when I wanted a super small camera) - 4 pictures taken in about 1 minute and the AAA's were already dead? I put the memorystick into my Sony KV36XBR800 TV to check the quality of the photos - HORRENDOUSLY BAD - grainy, woefully underpowered ...

I've taken around ~1100 pictures with my DSC-U20. I am a novice photographer with very little photographing skills but am an avid technophile. I think I need to mention that because people who are "intimidated" by electronic equipment have some difficulty in getting a good shot with a digital camera and I want to make sure people take that into account when reading this review. Still, here is my "layman's" take on this camera... DSC-U20 is a simple, point and shoot camera and it functions ...

I've had my U20 for 3 weeks and love it. I was tired of lugging around my Fuji Finepix 4700. The Sony is a camera I can have with me all the time without any hassle at all. I was pretty suprised by the battery life also.
