Hello, I own a Sony cyber-shot DSC-TX20 (rated waterproof up to 5m for 60 mins) since about 2 years. I went snorkeling maybe a dozen times with it and washed it with freshwater as best as I could after use, which I think is both common sense and manufacturer's guidelines. I'm however being paranoid lately after having read, out of curiosity, many amazon customers bad ratings of nightmarish scenarios with this kind of camera failing even in mellow conditions underwater and even on relatively...

I am looking to purchase a waterproof P&S and since I own an RX100 and A77 I am looking at Sony due to familiarity of UI and feature set, thus minimizing learning curve. I have read a few reviews stating the touch screen on the TX20 is unusable when wet. Is there anything to suggest this may improve on TX30? BR  Morten

I'm leaving this weekend for a trip in the Caribbean, I used a Panasonic TS2 and a TS3 on my two previous trips and had a lot of problems with condensation causing my lens to fog making the camera useless after a few days.I just bought the Sony TX20 and the Olympus TG-820 but I'm only planning to keep one and return the other, I tried the TX10 before in Mexico and didn't have any issue with the lens fogging but I'm still not a fan of the locking mechanism, the touch screen & overall ergonomic...
