I love this camera, and I'll be sad when I finally replace it with a newer model. Sure its got loads of problems, such as weak flash, no image stabilisation so extremely susceptible to camera shake, poor quality images in low light, extremely noisy, unbelieveably short battery life (sometimes go through two batteries in one night!!!), overpriced and the black paint on the lens cover flakes off when chipped by the keys in my pocket! so why do I love it so much? Simply because if I didn't have ...

I actually like the T7 better than any of the other "T" series Sony cameras. The flash is a little further away from the lens than any of the others, and the pictures are actually pretty good for such a small camera. Since it's the slimmest "T" available, you can always have it with you wherever you go. Problems: The sliding lens cover always ends up open when the camera is in your pocket and it has a clear coat on it that gets scratched way too easily. Battery doesn't last that long, but is ...

Wonderful point and shoot. I have had this cam for about a year and a half and have been consistently impressed with the results. Problems: No.

Very practical to use, mainly due to its thickness (actually to its thinness). I often put it in my shirt pocket and secure with the supplied loop around my neck. In this configuration you can allways access the camera very fast and easily without having a fear to drop it. Image quality is very good in normal lighting situations but has some limitations in low-light due to its miniature size. Problems: I had several shots showing my left hand finger. Be carefull when holding the camera!

I like the fact that you can take this camera virtually anywhere and still get 5.1MP. I can put it in my pocket while out bike riding or going out to dinner--it's extremely versatile. I also like the big screen, which I use as a photo viewer. The shutter cycles much faster than my DSC V1, which I will continue to use for manual exposures. The T7 has just the right weight for its size. The build quality is solid and it is a lot of fun to use. Image quality on Auto is virtually ...

I use the DSC-T7 as a walk-around pocket camera (I use a Nikon D1x for more serious stuff). I find that the T7 is very well built - very solid. The image quality is excellent for such a small camera. You need to watch for 2 things: 1 - don't obscure the lens with your fingers 2 - be sure to keep the lens clean. It is easy to touch it, which will leave finger grease on the lens and result in an unclear picture. Check frequently!

Blown away at the shots I get from this little wonder. I've had the Sony T1, T33, and now T7 - the best of the bunch. I also have had the Canon S400, and many other small cameras. This one RULES. I have a Nikon D70 for the big stuff, but the fact is, who wants to carry around a big camera ALL the time? The magic of this camera is that IF you are a half decent photographer and work with what you have, you WILL get fantastic shots from this T7. I don't know why some people complain about ...

I really like this camera. I'm a Pro and use two Nikon D-1x which are 2.5 LB each. The T7 is a neat little pocket photojournalist camera to carry all the time. I like the extreme close up feature, good for shooting bugs. See my web page I put up with sample pictures>> larrymulvehill(dot)com Problems: Finger prints I get on the little lens...used to having lens in the middle of body.

I used this camera on a recent 5 day trip to Disneyland with my granddaughters, and I was extremely pleased with the results. The battery life turned out to be a non-issue, I carried a spare but never used it, took around 60 pix and a couple videos every day. The battery recharges very quickly in the supplied charger. The low light performance isn't too good, but overall I am very impressed with the camera, and it is SOOO easy to carry in my shirt pocket! One feature I really appreciate is ...

Well, even after reading all the negative things said about this camera I still went out and bought one since I was able to get a damaged box one at my local Circuit City store for $399.99. It's the size that makes it sell so well! I've had the camera for about 3 weeks and after getting a slave flash I've managed to get some good photos out of it. The key to getting good indoor photos is to use Program mode, set the ISO at 100 and use the HVL-FSL1B Sony slave flash which mounts to the bottom ...
