Overall excellent. Feels solid and well built like a swiss watch. All the buttons and switches right where it needs to be. The LCD is simply gorgeous -- I often use it to show pics from my F717, no need to print photos to show off ! Sunny outdoor shots are excellent, on par with P200. Dark interior shots are okay if the subject is close. And thats what this camera was intended for. Of course night shots not the best, tend to be noisy or blurry. But how can you not expect that with such a ...

Excellent outdoor photos. As good as any subcompact.

The T7 is a toy! You're paying for its size, not quality! I am very disappointed with the Sony T7 camera. I bought it so I didn't have to carry my Sony F717 around due to its large size. I'm guessing anyone that gave this camera a good review never used a "good" digital camera. Day shots come out alright, but the lens is dark and the flash is nearly useless at night. I tried taking a photo of two friends in a well lit room and the picture came out all grainy. Problems: Camera has no manual ...

I bought this to supplement my Canon 350D and must say that it's been a joy to use thus far. Takes excellent photos outdoors and is amazingly small so it goes anywhere. Indoor flash within range are also fine. I like having a lower ISO setting available on this digicam (64) and the live histogram and battery meter are very helpful. Problems: None so far.

An excellent camera, if intelligently used. You have to understand what you're buying here. Like most things, it's a question of trade-offs and compromises. True, you're getting a fairly weak flash, no optical view finder, no manual white balance and a battery which at full charge shows only about 75 minutes of picture taking on the meter (if you believe such things, which for the most part I don't). In return, your money buys you a truly sleek, very well built machine which delivers ...

POOR BATTERY LIFE, STILL VERY WEAK FLASH I sold my T1 to buy the T7 thinking there would be quite some improvements. The ONLY improvement I see in the T7 is the size and a better LCD screen. Outdoor/sunlight pictures come out great but for a 5 megapixel camera the images look too soft. Problems: My biggest complaint about this camera is the battery! Battery life is terrible and you have to take the battery out of the camera to charge it. I bought the optional ...

SONY's DSC-T7 is one of the best I have tested in the last 5 years. As an adjunct faculty member at FAU a south Florida +25,000 student university, teaching “Principles of Digital Photography” and authored/published a book with the same name, with Pearson Education, Inc., 2003, I have tested hundreds digital cameras that have been offered to the public in recent years, and this one is truly unbelievable. One must understand that all cameras cannot do all things regardless of price and size. ...
