Better image quality than the T1. I'm not sure how Sony's engineers managed this while making the lens system and camera even smaller but they did. Good dynamic range to boot. Not to be passed up if you need a tiny cam for snapshots.

I can only compare this to my F717. It's so tiny it's rediculous and that's why we even bought one. My wife wanted a small portable camera for candid shots of our son, and the F717 takes some logistics to carry along :) I insisted on 5MP and Sony so here we are. The camera is metal has a nice quality feel and weight to it. Battery life is short, and a spare battery is in our future. Indoor photos were disappointing, but I found that by bumping up the EV and manually adusting the white ...

I really couldn't be happier with the T7. Pefect for my needs. Excellent build and the menu system is easy to use. As the previous reviewer stated, people either love or hate this camera, but most of my photos are taken outdoors and the T7 produces sharp prints with excellent colour. For indoor, low-light, or fast moving subject like kids and pets, I have yet to find a truly compact digital camera that does a great job. If most of my shooting involved these conditions, I'd pop for an dSLR. ...

It looks like people either love this camera or they hate it. Sorry to say, but I'm one that hates it! It looked so awesome at the store, then when I started using it in the real world is when the problems began. Problems: Like others say, indoor photos are terrible unless the sun is shining right in your window. I rarely take outdoor day photos so I'm guessing this camera is just not for me. Red-eye has been so bad that it's even hard to correct it with software. Battery life has been a ...

Poor cave photos w\no light. Excellent outdoor shots! I can't believe anyone could hold this camera, turn it on and then rate the construction or ease of use a 1. Please. Problems: Not yet.

People say this camera is excellent for what it was designed for???? Was it designed to take close-up pictures of bugs? That is the only time the flash would be powerful enough! I was really hoping for this to be a good camera as I paid over US$450 for it. The size of the camera is awesome, if only it's picture quality was also! 75% of the pictures I take indoors even is small rooms are way too dark and if there is any movement whatsoever they also come out blurry. The size and the nice LCD ...

Amazing! Great images for such a small camera and lots of fun to use. Outdoors this cam can compete with the best of the ultracompacts and the LCD is a joy to use. Ignore the comments from users who try and use this camera to take underwater pictures of dolphins in the dark. It wasn't made for such things.

This is the worst camera that I ever try. I don’t understand how Jim Wilson gave such perfect review for this camera. Under impression I bought it in the Best Buy and return in back on the next day. I took about 1000 photos. No one have contrast. And it cost about $650. We tested before SONY P200, CANON SD500 and SONY W7. Those cameras had no problems as T7 has. Problems: 1) Left controls position. 2) Problems with focus: with flash and/or under normal light conditions; 3) Short battery life ...

Great small camera! The T7 is one of the few shirt-pocket cameras that allow preselecting focus distance for flash photography. Setting the focus (0.5, 1, 3, 7m) eliminates the need for the annoying orange Sony focus beam, which always interrupts the candidness of the motives. I only had it for 2 days but I must say, there is very little distortion in the optics all across the lens's focus length range. Great large LCD dislpay. so far it definitely looks like a keeper. Problems: I'd rather ...
