I like it and use it a lot. We cannot criticize the image quality for such a compat camera and considering when it was launched. I think it's images are pretty good. It's really easy to use and it's cinstruction very good, as I dropped it more than once and it has not even a scratch. Presently (2008) there a lot more sofisticated cameras, but for the purpose I use it (pocket camera, as the SLRs cannot be with us all the time) it's really nice and most of the time I use it at 3Mpixels, not ...

The good : It's small. Easy to use. Black&White native mode is surprisingly good - especially with a bit of noise reduction applied. The Bad : Shutter lag means it's not the best camera for shooting parties, childern etc. When using the flash, the lag means you press the button then count...it's a hit and miss job. The cradle & power brick set up for charging is just a jungle of wire. Surely there's a simpler way to do this? A bit style over substance. Problems: When changing to native B&W, ...

Bottom line, I really enjoyed this camera but even if I hadn't lost it, it was time to upgrade. Construction is pretty solid. I've accidentally dropped it (I'm accident prone) several times from the top of a table to a hard surfaced floor and it amazingly survived each drop. It feels solid in your hands and slips into your pocket VERY easily. For a while I used the Sony case but during the last few months of the camera's life (I lost it while snowboarding...) I didn't' bother with the case ...

i bought this camera because i've been wanting to have a pocket-size digicam. the camera is superb if you're using it outdoors. the pictures are so perfect compared to other cameras. however, it will just give you headaches when it comes to indoor pictures. people tend to get so red. it sucked in short when it comes to indoor shots. now i'm selling this camera for a v3 (if still available in the market) or probably an H1 or H2. Problems: - poor flash for indoor shots

I bought the Sony T3 in Asia as a replacement for my T1 which got thrown into a pool of water by monkeys in India! I've had the camera for 8 months and used it extensively on a 6 month round the world trip. It's had A LOT of use. First impression, compared to the T1, there is virtually no difference. If you have a T1, I see no reason for upgrading to this camera, other than "improved" body styling (I prefer the look of the T1) . Operation is exactly the same, although startup time is ...

I've had this camera for about 8 months now, and mostly the results have been very good. However there is one nagging problem with this camera, and that is the flash. It's hopeless, even when you boost the flash in the menu. One of the main reasons I got this sub-compact camera was so that I could put it in my pocket and take it to social gatherings, dinner parties, etc. Every time I used it at night or indoors, the results were pretty disapointing. Compared to the camera I upgraded from (a ...

Neat packaging and great form factor. Very high-tech and clean. Excellent LCD. Fast shutter and recycle time. Loved it until it failed. Problems: Began to severely overexpose in daylight scenes after 4 months of light duty cycle. Local sony Repair Service did not have the right equipment to test/calibrate. Had to send to Sony Repair Ctr. in Laredo, TX. Has been there since 3/23/05.

It's compact and easy to use, you can carry it anywhere. The 2,5' LCD is very functional. But the night and low light images are not very clear and there's a serious red-eye problem. When I was purchasing this camera I hoped Sony has solved the flash and low light problem on T1 and produced T3 but unfortunately it seems they haven't. Anyway, I was looking for a really compact camera and I found one. Will not expect so much from low light images. PS: Try to buy a spare battery, as the LCD is ...
