Got this camera at the very beginning from direct stock from Japan. It was really a revolutionary design, it has been the setting foundation for me to trust Sony compacts. Image quality back in the days was legendary, some people suspect it was SLR quality photos. The ease of options meant that this camera was very flexible in all sorts of situations. Image quality once again, just couldnt ask for anything better, keep in mind this was back in Decemeber 03. Ruggered construction, there wasnt ...

I bought the DSC-T1 in May 2004 since when it has been an almost constant companion for business and travel. I've taken almost 14,000 images. It is compact, very easy to carry and easy to use. It takes shots in tight spots other cameras would not be able to access. Battery life has been good. Memory for a full day of picture-taking might take 1 Gb and one battery charge with full detail. I carry a spare battery and extra memory just in case. Problems: The main problem has been from the ...

I bought this camera 1.5 years ago because I needed something small I can carry in my jacket pocket when I'm out and cannot carry my DSLR with me. It works well considering its size and the picture is good once you learn how to use it (my first batch of pics were awful until I turned off "intelligent focusing"). This camera if FAST, starts up almost instantly and very low shutter lag in good light. Outdoor picture quality is excellent; however, due to the size, it is very difficult to keep it ...

I bought this camera to replace an older Sony that had pooped out. I bought the camera based on size and the fact that I found an excellent deal on it. Or so I thought.... =========== Construction: Not too bad. The sliding door that covers the battery/memory card department was a little loose and I could feel it move slightly everytime I held the camera. Annoying and made me really conscious of it breaking. But it never really did. The sliding lens cover remained pretty tight and functioned well.

I had this camera for about year. Since I bought it new I made a numerous attempts to figure out what's wrong with it: The picture quality was not better then those taken with my cell phone! At first I thought that the camera is defective and exchanged it for a new one. Same problem. Then I search all possible forums and tried to manually change all possible settings -- no luck. Then I start talking to other T1 owners and they told me that it's the camera's problem. T1 does take very bad ...

The T1 is a great camera if you're looking for something easy to carry transport and/or a camera that has quick startup. Photos taken using flash were horrible. It feels very flimsy in my hand. It's a very slim camera, I know, but if I don't have the wrist strap on, I fear I'll drop it VERY EASILY. Other than that, it takes exceptional photos in well-lit rooms. Excellent outdoors. Problems: Flash/build.

Excellent camera for snapshots. Small enough to carry everywhere. Battery life adequate. Flash not very effective except at very short distances. Opaque screen is a problem with bright sunlight as it reflects off the screen and makes it difficult to see the scene you are photographing.

My first own digital camera, for me it is to small and light, so it is difficult to keep it for a long time with out of shake during picturing. Problems: I don't like it's battery life, it is too short, especialy in compare with bigger size cameras.
