I think the S730 does a decent job overall, especially considering its low price (€ 95) I took many photos of all kind of different situations in bright daylight, with many photos looking bright and colourful (there where also some bad looking photos too,see problems) Macro is also above average. There are plenty of settings in P mode, with the same settings to choose from as the higher-end Cybershots, except Smile Shutter & Face detection. Recently i got a chance to my hands on one ofmy friends s730 .. but results were not as expected.. altough the camera luks kewl and is priced competitively .. image quality is not that goood.. instead i wud suggest Cannon Power shot a550 which is far better and and cost lesser.
