Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-S700 is a nice 7.2MP camera. For starters, it has many scene modes and is very ease to use-I thought the metal body made the camera luxurious for a entry-level Cyber-shot. Sony's menu system is quite easy to use and there's a helpful function guide. I was able to change settings quite quickly. Image quality is very good-for a camera with a Sony made lens.

This is a good camera for the money. Battery life is adequate. The associated software is good, but not up to Sony quality. Problems: The image quality when using zoom is marginal.

This sony is crap it is good for a ten year old kid, the macro is great. and why would any body design a camera that go's to a 1000 iso rating is it for the grainy affect, to fix this problem swich it to (P) for program and set the alto seting iso to 100 iso and this will make it less grainy. Problems: the image quality is very poor

A real downgrade for Sony, this camera is worthless. Problems: A LOT of blurry images (no auto focus assist light, so lowlights are a pain), slow response, big on noise. A real shame, Sony had a quality standard (owned 4 sony models before this one). Stay away from this camera, get a Canon or a Fuji instead.
