Unfortunately I did not apply a screen protector on the LCD of my RX1R and I now have a few distracting scuffs. I'm considering applying this Sony screen protector Sony PCKLM15 LCD Protector for RX1: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PCKLM15-Protector-DSC-RX1-Black/dp/B009UOIAEU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420054793&sr=8-1&keywords=sony+rx1+screen+protector Does anyone know if this will diminish the appearance of preexisting scuffs on the LCD screen? Or is this just a waste of time at this...
I have used the Fuji xe-1 and xe-2 with fine results and had the chance to try out a RX1R briefly and was really blown away aside from a few focus issues. We decided we would wait for the next version of that camera. The a7ii seemed great and I got it with the 55 1.8 when that wait seemed hopeless. To make a very general statement, I am just getting less good photos indoors with average light with this camera than any of the above. I miss focus quite a bit and I do not seem to be seeing the...
My reason for selling is mostly because I am stuck with a Japanese menu.I am in Real Estate here in NYC and was given to me as a gift from an Asian client. It would be rude of course to give it back etc.I never once considered the menu could not be changed.Honestly I really do NOT have much use for it as well. Please contact me if interested.Number included Anthony Lopez Licensed Real Estate Salesperson 3478789499
Hi! What's your experience with plugging in the Nissin i40 flash to the Sony RX1 or RX1R cameras? Someone asked this same question too at https://www.flickr.com/groups/rx1/discuss/72157648912314258/ , please post your finding there too, or link bank from there to here. I guess the main things to clarify are * It works at all, * The flash sits well in the mount?, * The TTL sync and other functionality is fine?, and, * Wil the the Nissin i40 give AF light to the RX1/RX1R? And maybe last,...
I have the RX1R and the A5000. I find that when I import the videos using LR5 or just manual copy and paste, the videos are not sorted with respect to the photos in order in which they were taken. In fact, I find that the videos are all together and the taken date is the day when I am importing them. Gasp!! Anyone has any good suggestions to ensure that the video clips remain in the same order in terms of date/time taken with the photos? Thanks! PS. I did try googling it and I cant seem to...
Hello everyone, Hope you are well. I was just checking the sensor ratings in Dxomark and when I compared RX1, RX1R and D810, RX1R came up having a lower DR ratings that RX1. I took a screenshot here: http://www.mf-photography.com/Misc/i-NjLK3q3/0/O/Screenshot_2014-07-27-06-41-22.png Anybody who owns both or have used either, can you please share your experience? RX1R is a newer model without the OLPF, and other than that, I was not aware of any other differences. Thank you very...
All, This might be a simple fix. I read the manual but maybe I'm missing it. Say I want to set one of my custom buttons 1,2 or 3 for Black and White. I know how to navigate to get to the setting and it holds it to one of the customs when I'm shooting however if I click to another setting and go back to that same custom setting I just used, all the settings reset. So you have to go back and keep setting it to Black and White. Is there a way to keep or save a B&W setting? Thanks, Tom And...
I love my RX1R for daytime use. But at night, despite its FF sensor and ability to go up to 3200 without much issue, the focusing and noise levels above 6400 could be better. This is where Df could fill the gap, night time high ISO photos. But the only 35mm lens I have is the old 35/2.8AIS which is pretty good, but not at the same level of the Zeiss 35/2 Sonnar on the RX1R. I need some feedback on the following choices: 1. Sigma 35mm ART - bar none best IQ, with additional benefit of AF,...
