I have an RX100m2 and just purchased an X-T1. I'm comparing photos and am a bit surprised how I'm not seeing as large a difference in IQ as I would have thought.  ISO difference is large, but in normal daylight (or sunset) I'm having trouble finding how to make the X-T1 shine.   I'm using LT 5.7. This isn't meant as a comment of dis-satisfaction, I'm genuinely interested in knowing what I might do to harness it's capabilities. I took a test photo and would love advice on why they look so...

Hi Photo Peoples I just bought a RX100M II for our hawaiian vacation and am looking into picking up a polarizer filter. I see that sony offers a 58mm adapter that you stick to the camera. I've also seen some after market versions like the magFilter. Any recommendations on the best adapter setup? Once I get the adapter figured out what brand/model polarizer filter would you recommend? This is my first real camera in years. Any suggestions for other must have filters? Thanks

Which is the best decision? I mostly shoot video, but if ever I take photos I can easily import them to a external hard drive, then delete them from my computer.  I shoot on a RX100M2 and just started using a Transcend 32GB Class 10 90mb/s SD Card. Any and everything will help. Thank you.

The Lens cover sliding blades on my camera do not open and close properly. I need to tap the top of the camera to close them fully and tap them again to open them fully after I press the shutter button. Does anyone know how this problem can be repaired or have a recommended solution? Appreciate any input you can provide. Larry

Hi everyone ! My XF1 died because of the LENS CONTROL ERROR thing and I want a truly pocketable camera for replacement. After reading several reviews, I have preselected the S120 and the RX100. Both are RAW capable, which is important to me. Now I have to make a choice, but I'm balanced between the real small size and reactivity of the S120 and the amazing picture quality of the RX100. Unfortunately the G7X is out because too pricy. My old XF1 had a 2/3" sensor which was great for me, but I...

These two cameras are like new and I have about 15 days to return 1 or both= -Sony a5000 for $239 -Sony RX100 II for $396 I used the a5000 on a recent trip to the Alps/Munich in Germany and the pictures were just, ehh. I was using the stock lens. What I like is the flip-up screen and the fact that you can use different lenses but have not tried any yet. Last week I was in Spain with my EOS M and 50mm 1.4 and loved the photos that came out of it, really sharp. Since I got that one for less...

Hi guys My RX100 M2 takes between 3 and 6 seconds before it lets me take another picture in single shot mode. This seems very long to me. According to this review it's supposed to be far below 1 second: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/sony-rx100-ii/sony-rx100-iiA6.HTM I'm shooting in RAW+JPEG (setting it to RAW only doesn't help) and I'm using a 64GB Sandisk Ultra micro SDXC UHS-I card. I found this thread describing the same...
