Hi I'm thinking seriously about getting the A77II One of the few features I wish it had, but hasn't is a pivoting EVF: I find the pivoting EVF on my NEX-5 very useful when the camera is on a monopod Does anybody know if the FDA-EV1MK EVF which is really meant for RX1 (and supposedly also works on the RX100II) will also work on the A77II to give a 'pivoting EVF' feature on that camera? Many thanks for any answers!

Does the self-timer on the A7s refocus just before taking the actual picture to ensure that it is in focus? I ask beacuse I have the RX1 that doesn't: It focuses only when the trigger is pressed, not when taking the actual picture - making the self-timer less usefull than it could have been... Thanks in advance!

Hi! What's your experience with plugging in the Nissin i40 flash to the Sony RX1 or RX1R cameras? Someone asked this same question too at https://www.flickr.com/groups/rx1/discuss/72157648912314258/  , please post your finding there too, or link bank from there to here. I guess the main things to clarify are  * It works at all,  * The flash sits well in the mount?,  * The TTL sync and other functionality is fine?, and,  * Wil the the Nissin i40 give AF light to the RX1/RX1R? And maybe last,...

Hi, I have just managed to get an RX10 for £550 on ebay, its advertised as used but hardly used and was only bought in Aug, also comes with receipt. Sounds pretty good to me :) Anyway, i have just bought the lowepro apex 110 aw case which looks ideal from what i have read, i also wanted to but a screen protector but found it hard finding the usual GGS one for this camera (i usually get ggs / larmor protectors) After having a look around on google, am i right in assuming that any listed for...

Anyone know if there is a quick way to center the AF spot while in Flexible Spot mode? Or do you have to "walk" in back to center? Thanks --¡Viva la Resolución!http://www.flickr.com/photos/dfpanno/http://www.flickriver.com/photos/dfpanno/popular-interesting/On Flickriver chose "Scale to Fit Screen" (upper left) for highest resolution.

I'm having some issues with my RX1. It's currently abit more than a year old and suddenly the manual focus ring is now unresponsive. AF works fine but turning the ring doesn't register any action in both MF and DMF modes. Is anyone else having an issue like this?

Will the Fuji WCL-100 & TCL-100 convertors work on the RX1? Filter thread size is the same, but I'm not sure if Fuji even uses the filter threads for this or if there are any issues with image circle size since the front element on the fuji is much smaller than the RX1. Optical correction would all have to be manual. Anyone have any experience with this?

I am looking at gettng the MIII. I have been "downsizing" for years. I have gone through the Nikon D2X->D300->Panny G1->Oly OMD. This is my next step. The RX100 looked like just what I wanted. Since I do not worship at the "Temple of Low Light" or do videos. A super fast lens is not vital to me. Most of my photography is travel/landscape/buildings . If you look at my Flickr stream you will see that I think the MIII will fill abouty 90%+ of my needs. My biggest concern is at the other end of...

I am in a unusual situation that my wife is demanding that I buy a camera! Now I am a very happy DSLR user, but sometimes my wife wishes to take photo's and finds my camera too complex for her(especially with the modes I tend to leave it in) Therefore she wants a simple camera that she can use. However I would also find a small compact useful to take on business trips, so I would like to use it to once in a while Problem is, the reason I went to DSLR in the 1st place was the low light...
