I don't use the Tammy as much anymore due to the fact that I feel like I can crop the Sony 18-135 and get better results for objects at a reasonable distance. My quandary is that vacation plans the end of April will have opportunities for wildlife. I can't justify the cost of the g lenses or Tamron 150-600. (I'd rather use the money on more vacation adventures :) ) I was considering the Panasonic Lumix DMC LZ1000 as an all in one travel solution, but my thinking is that as good as it seems to...
There are quite a few showing up on ebay and Amazon lately, stating : "works fine EXCEPT manual focus is broken" __________________________________________________________________ Does anyone know if all three incarnations of the model share the same focusing mechanism ?
Hi guys i seem to be having a huge issue with getting all the faces in focus on my Sony rx1. Sometimes a green square will appear over a subject but not collectively with all the subjects.. I use Auto when indoors low light. Most of if not all the time only one face will be sharp. What settings should I have the camera set at to have all people in the photo sharp?Hope its not a fault with Auto setting for this camera. Thanks.
Hello I've been considering a used RX1/R as a landscape/hiking camera, due to the small size and high quality images. Would the panoramic function be an acceptable alternative to a wide angle lens?. Hello everyone, seeing as I recently lost faith in Ricoh, seeing as first my Ricoh GR was struck by the dust-monster and the replacement GRII I ordered from amazon came with sensor-dust right out the box, I don't really know if I still trust Ricoh to build a camera that will reliably deliver outstanding images without having to worry about my camera (and I babied my GR, always kept it in a Lowepro AW belt-pouch, never in a pocket...), so now I am looking for another solution to my...
Since there seems to be a lot of interest in that camera, are there actually any books out on some unusual features etc? It took me a while to understand the built in HDR and that you can actually customise the bracketing that is involved. Likewise I would have to do some controlled shooting on the DR settings. Was there nothing?? Nothing at all?? Ever? Would maybe make more sense now since the new camera is not that different in many aspects ... Deed
I have an RX1 and recently shot a frame without a card in the camera...and was surprised that the frame showed up on the screen at all. Does this frame exist on the camera somewhere? Could I download it? It seemed to have written somewhere, or did it just exist in the buffer then is totally gone?
