Superb - my 1st digital camera. Very easy to use - fantastic quality! Even use normal AA batteries when u stuck with low batteries and have no charger with you. Problems: Can't fault it!

Fine first-time digital camera for the novice point-and-shooter. My background: long-time amateur photographer (hobbyist) now looking to go semi-pro. My first camera was my father's handed-down Nikon FA film SLR back in the day (80s). Learned light control the old fashioned way. My first digital was this Sony DSC-P93. Used it extensively for a little over a year. Loved it, for what it was intended: ease of use, fun to shoot and, at the time I bought it (spring 2004), great value for its ...

My mother bought this one for holiday-pictures and I helped her make the choice.. wel we've chosen very well! The picture quality is allmost professional and the options are everything you would expect from it. It so extremely easy to use! We've bought this camera for only €199,- and payed half for both the starterkit and a Sandisk Memorystick PRO 256MB. Ive had the camera for only 3 days and I love it. I have taken many different pictures in different situations. A lot of them were in dark places, and some were taken from my moving car. They have all turned out perfect. Sony has definitely done a great job.

Over the last month I have been doing research on digital cameras. I have become familiar with the majority of quality 4 and 5 mega-pixel cameras on the market. I have educated myself on the features, prices, etc. and came to the conclusion that the Sony P93 was the best bang for the buck! I had it narrowed down to the Canon A85 for features and price comparison. The Canon offers some features that the Sony doesn't have, but the Sony wins out in speed of taking pictures, movies, size and ...

This is my very first digital camera and I was really worried about getting the right camera for me. I soon realised that I had nothing to worry about with this camera. It feels the right size, has a good weight and I haven't yet pushed the wrong button accidentally. I can highly recommend it. Problems: The only thing I have a problem with so far is the macro, which isn't as good as I'd hoped but this is only a minor problem.

I have had the P93 for almost a year now and found this camera excellent in every way. Small, compact with 5.1 megapixels plus all the settings of a Vl including the necessary histogram for shooting outdoors in bright light and sunlight. I have produced 4x6 up to 8 x 10 prints from my computer to a Canon printer. Colors are clear, no purple or blue fringes. I have taken hundreds of photos with the P93 and would have to see a better camera of the same size that produces any better pix. Problems:

Awesome Camera! I've owned many sony digital cameras starting with the P1 and I'll have to say, there are great improvements with every new line that comes out. Comparing this camera to the P100, even for not having a Carl Zeiss lens, the image quality is almost identical. The MPEG movie VX fine is awesome but EATS memory! You only get a little over 3 mins of video with a 256MB Memory Stick Pro. Time to invest in a 2GB SanDisk, hopefully the prices will drop ...

As my first digital camera, this one seems excellent for me. Problems: USB & DC cap could be better, becouse it sticks quite poor. Is it possible to change/remove it?
