Foul with Memory Stick. Back in september 2002, I decided between P9 and Canon PowerShot S40, as many people probably did in this category. What won the day was the small size and the video limited by memory-card capacity only. The camera fulfills my expectations, very handy, can be carried everywhere, batteries are fine. Despite the relatively "cheap" lens, the image quality is pretty good. The dissappointment came three months after the purchase, when I heard first rumours about the fact ...

So far, I like my camera. I had a 1.3 mp camera before and this was definitely a step up. I knew I would be sacrificing certain features for the compact size which is fine. Perhaps one day, I will move up to an SLR-style digital camera. Problems: The open/close looks and sounds a little odd. Indoor shots without the flash and in poor light look grainy. However, I am disappointed with the soft focus and have also come across a lot of chromatic aberration. Even after spending time forcusing the shot. Is there anything I can do? Is this a common problem for Sony cameras? Problems: Flash set up defaults with no flash when I start up the camera. Is there an option to ...

Easy to use, stylish, poor indoors pictures Problems: Indoors pictures are very poor. I want to get another camera that can be used indoors. I don't recommend this camera.

Only for the size it is good, but for the rest it is not a very memorable camera. The settings can be altered without intention as the buttons are flimsy and can be activated in error. The lens is unsharp in the corners and has a lot of chromatic aberrations, for this money they should be able to offer a decent piece of glass. Problems: All the time, flash settings were altered because the lousy buttons can be pressed to alter settings without intending to do so.
