Easy to use, stylish, poor indoors pictures Problems: Indoors pictures are very poor. I want to get another camera that can be used indoors. I don't recommend this camera.

I had a Coolpix 5000 (very bad pictures), so i bought a Sony P9, for the pocketsize and the good reviews it has. Its a great cam, easy too use and great pictures. Problems: Sony gives a 16 mb memorycard NOT ENOUGH

I was also disappointed at the soft focus and chromatic aberrations, tho I suspect you can't expect a lot better with such a small lens, and it does make for a compact camera. My last camera (Agfa) had optics that were well ahead of the electronics, it's interesting that this is the other way around; eg there is very little point in using the 'fine' jpeg setting because there is no more detail to resolve from the lens. In all other respects this is a very good, we love its size. Problems: Had ...

Can't believe how easy this was to hook up to a Mac iBook and get productive right from the start...not so simple with a pc ;-(( Image quality is great and construction right up with the best. Size is ideal for taking anywhere. Problems: Sometimes hard to use navigation button to manually delete images.

The size of the camera is great. The construction quality is excellent. Doesn't look cheap. The controls are easy to use. The battery could last a little longer. I don't like the quality of the pictures. They are not as sharp and clear as the DSC-P5 which I also own and love. I did my own comparing shots between the two cameras. In the P-9, you can see the more brilliant colors. But the pictures are not crisp and sharp. I tried the different focus settings and some other settings. I ...

Only for the size it is good, but for the rest it is not a very memorable camera. The settings can be altered without intention as the buttons are flimsy and can be activated in error. The lens is unsharp in the corners and has a lot of chromatic aberrations, for this money they should be able to offer a decent piece of glass. Problems: All the time, flash settings were altered because the lousy buttons can be pressed to alter settings without intending to do so.

It's the size that attracted me, moreover, it's a 4.1 megapixel camera. Taken the camera all round the world and works perfectly in every occasion. The battery may not last very long, but it is sufficient for a day of average photography. You will use up more battery by reviewing the pictures you've taken rather than taking it. It has an option for you to switch off the LCD display and use the viewport to save batteries. Problems: Using the viewport to take pictures, the LCD display touches ...

Fine camera. Best Features: * So small! It really is so convenient to take it anywhere * 4 Megapixels * unlimited-length MPEG - I've got a 128M Memory Stick, and that seems to hold about 30 minutes of MPEG The zoom, image quality and feature set are superb for a camera so small. There are a few other features I would like, but you have to move to a bigger camera for those (like the Nikon CoolPix 4500). I'm very happy with my purchase - now all my friends want one! Problems: I would prefer a ...
