I like the camera. But.... (read the "Problems" section) Problems: But, Sony is really bad in service. I was using my camera one day and turned the power off for a couple minutes after taking 50 pics. When I started the camera again, the zoom lens started moving in and out. And it hasn't stopped since. I called Sony and asked if they would fix it for me cause the camera was still under warranty and they said that they will charge me $170 anyways (I can get another camera with almost same ...

I bought this camera to go along with my 717. I found it very easy to use and to my surprise it produces very nice images, I am very pleased. I will be taking this camera back as I will keep the Canon S-45 that I am also test driving mainly because it has higher MP. Would I recommend this camera? Yes. Problems: None

This is a great camera for beginner. It's strong and well built. The picture quality is great (especially outdoor pictures). Low light shots can be disappointing without flash, if you dislike the use of flash (like me) use twilight mode instead: the pictures produced were impressive (but of course steady hand is needed). Red eye is not a problem for this camera either. Never have trouble transferring pictures to my computer (like corrupted file or something). Good value for its price! P.S. ...

We found that the colour depth and clarity was great. Compared to my old Sony Mavica (from 1999), this is leaps and bounds ahead of what they had! My wife was able to start sending emails with this camera the first day we had it (after charging, of course) and it's so rewarding to see your subjects in such great detail and high-quality output!

I have been using this camera for a few months now, and find that I do use the features it has (selecting asa, exposure compensation, preselecting focus distance), so am pleased I chose this one (rather than nikon coolpix). I prefer being able to remove the batteries to charge as this means I can put in another set, and still use the camera rather than wait 13hrs for them to charge. I am still using computer to look at pictures, havnt printed any so cannot really judge image quality. Its ...

Being that this camera is one of the cheapest 3.2MP cams out (for the moment), I was afraid that this one might be featureless and more of just a point and shoot type. I was very happy to find a descent level of features including some manual control of your photographs. The images this cam produces are very nice in my opinion, besides some grainyness if the lighting isn't right. I think this cam is very worth the $350 I paid. Hopefully I'll get 2-3 years out of it. One thing I am not ...

Nice camera, makes good hi res pictures. Very good point and shoot camera. Ideal for most novices wanting to share pictures of good resolution over the internet, and also to have prints of them from time to time. Menu´s and functions can be learned in a day by experimenting with them. The manual is somewhat difficult to understand if you´re not in to photography, but is still very clear on using functions Problems: The charging of the batteries seems to take forever.. luckely the 2200mAH ...
