Selling away my Camera half price. No serious problem except the photos are not clear enough. Problems: 'Enter' button is not easy to press. To compound the problem, there is no multi file select to choose a group of photos in the memory stick for deletion. Delete one by one is tedious using that stupid ENTER button everytime. Gotto click two times in the process to delete every picture. Very troublesome. Formatting is not the solution because I do not want to delete all pictures. The ...

Bad Picture. I would not use this camera for my photos again. When i look at the 8R photos, there are too much dots (u guys call noise ?) So i had to reduce my photos to a 4R. Read earlier postings about noisy indoor/night pictures, Does it mean i have to keep my camera when the sun is down . Problems: Bad pictures !

Agree that the camera is specially sensitive to greens/lime color. Problems: My biggest problem with this camera is it takes bad indoor photos. I tried playing with the ISO by forcing it to 100 instead of letting it go al the way up to 400. Still .... very noisy. Can't understand why ....

I think the pictures are OK ONLY in bright sunlight/daylight (after discounting the sharpness) Problems: Very noisy pictures in dim/florescent light. Same noise problem exists when flash is used.

I'm satisfied with the outdoor photos taken by this camera. Read in one forum, the camera does not catch edges very clearly. I've compared the photos side by side with those taken my Sony F-505. Well, sad to say it's true. Problems: Difficult to press "ENTER" button which is in the middle of UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT navigators.

Not control-able. Not for amateurs. If you understand something about photography and camera, dont buy this camera. Problems: Blur images for far objects.

Bad image sharpness. No meaning to have more than 3 mega pixels. Should have found a sony with CZ lens to buy. Problems: On the mode dial, when moving from VIEW to setup, you will have to go thru MOVIE mode which brings the lens out. Then, at SETUP mode the lens goes back after a few seconds. Quite annoying. Currently the mode dial is SCENE -> NORMAL->VIEW->MOVIE->SETUP Hi Sony, My suggestion is arrange the dial such that the sequence flows ths way: SCENE -> NORMAL->MOVIE->VIEW->SETUP Then it ...

I have just bought one P71, 2 days ago. Looked at the specifications, they have a list of aperture and shutter speed listed. However user has no direct access to the parameters. They are all controlled by the camera ! Without the manual controls, I could not capture image of fast events ! I could not maximize aperture opening to get the portrait effect ! I could not understand why it is so difficult to open up these parameters to user. After all, if Sony wants to save cost on a button or two, ...
