This is my first digital camera purchase after using 2 earlier generation digital cameras at work. I find the image quality quite good on pictures I have taken when compared with other photos of similar level digital camera images posted on review sites such as this. Have been in photography for 20 years and this is my second digital camera. Images with the sony are clear and sharp with good colour rendition. The camera has some good features and makes the best videos i have seen on a digital still camera. At first i felt the price was a lil high but now after having taken 200 or so photos i am convinced i made the right choice. I spent a while comparing many cameras and checked reviews for each but the Sony, despite having lil control in the way of ...

It's compact size coupled with a 3.2Megapixel makes for an easy to carry around point-and-shoot camera. The contruction and placement of buttons is very intuitive and ergonomic. I like the finger grip that the P7 has as oppossed to the dot grips that were on the P5. 16MB memory stick is too small for high quality pictures so I recommend a 128MB right away. My first digital camera wich I think is easy to use. (Tried a couple of Kodak, Nikon, HP) Anyway I'm very satisfied, ideal size and construction. Fits right in my hand..... The only drawback with it is that the memory stick that comes with the camera is TOO small (16MB), with the resolution I use, 1600x1200 you can take approximately 20 pictures. (they go fast...) I think the quality of the pictures must stand in accordance to what kind of resolution you use. Higher resolution = Better pictures ...

nice little camera and easy to use, makes very fine pictures and the software that you get with the camera is very useful, because you can do a lot of things with the still-pictures and the m-peg movies as well. You can make a small film of your still-pictures and put some sound on to it. After that you can burn it down to a cd, and show it to family and friends Dont wait......buy this camera....it is a nice buy Problems: no problems so fare, and I dont expekt to get any
