It is a very good camera for family use. I made a lot of very good photographs around Caribbeean Islands with this camera and I was very happy with it.

This camera is good for family use. If your really trying to persue photography I would'nt recomend this camera. It is slow, zoom sucks, colors are sometimes different, and it is ackward to hold. For the price it is a great camera for families. If your a serious photographer.... then my opinion is to spend more money for a better camera. Chelsea H

Great Camera, high price for only a 2X optical zoom but you want a good compact camera... You can probably find this cheap at most stores. Honestly, I sold it for a higher model but this camera and the line it comes from are excellent. Problems: Lack of Zoom. No Macro mode.

Had it for 8 months and other than lack of real zoom it is a great little camera. Love the image quality in full light opportunities. Problems: Proprietary memory containment...

Remember: Great Deal=Low Quality. 1. Dissapointing Software 2. I was laughing(and crying for my money) when I saw what Sony claims to be VGA 640x480 movie resolution 3. Red is orange 4. 20% of the outside pictures overexposed 5. You can shoot only still subject. Even walking person is dificult. 6. Flash on normal is too low. 7. Price for memory stick is enormous high 8. For a good quality you should use "fine" which eats a lot of memory. "Standard" is not so good. No intermediate(as Canon's ...

I recieved this camera as a gift. My initial impression was some what mixed. I found the picture quality very good for an enrty level camera. The over all body design, however, is poorly laid out. Operating the zoom while shooting one handed is near impossible. Trying to use the DSC-P52 two handed has its own issues, your left hand never seems to fall in a comfortable spot. Taking picutures in rapid succession does not happen. Mostly due to the flash having an excessive recharge time of ...

This is an excellent camera for the price (£150) and comes with all the extras you need to get started, and the rechargeable batteries last ages once fully charged. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is on a budget yet wants a decent camera and you cant really go wrong with Sony. Problems: 1. As it can only save as a jpeg file format it keeps file size down, yet seems to degrade the quality a bit, as i have taken pictures where the colours have gone funny, especially white and it is ...

Excellent portable d-cam. Loads of features, nice looking and right weight. Could be a little smaller though, like the P8/10 series, but I understand it is a lower range camera. Overall, I rate it 4.5, for the camera it is, considering price/functions. I also bought a Sony MS 64MB and the carrying pouch, the LCS-PEA. Problems: - Zoom too short ranged - Overall size (not weight) - Obsolete 16MB MS
