This is a great camera. Good value for the money. I use it on business and personal pictures. I almost bought a much cheaper Samsung and I'm very glad I didn't that day. Problems: Absolutely no problems yet!

Own a Sony DSC-F707 for over a year, always kept watching out for a cheap small camera. I bought this one for 237 EUR, i'm happy with it. Results are practically the same as my first digital Canon S10 camera (also 2.1). The camera feels so solid, unbelievable. Size is perfect, if it would be smaller it wouldn't be that convenient to use. Zoom is somewhat worthless, the lens is covered by a small door when turned off. Very good constructed, cause dirt can easly 'work up' in that small holes. ...

When I was looking for a nice digital camera for a nice price, this camera came in sight and I couldn't resist. Six months later I still don't regret on the purchase. One thing that this camera lacks, is the "macro" feature. Should've gotten next model with the "macro". Problems: When I connect to my PC through USB to upload pictures, sometimes it won't connect. I found out that if I push the cable, where it connects to the camera, little to the side only then I'll be able to get to the ...

Great little camera for the price. To pay this small of an amount and to open the box and see what you really get....it's a great feeling. Full featured pont and shoot is how I would describe it. Great amount of manual controls but you can still leave everything to the camera if you prefer. The things that I was looking for in a 2 MP camera were good picture quality, long battery life, the ability to use alkalines or rechargeables, included charger and TV out capability. I found ALL of ...

Mucho features and HQ..very pleased. Got this one as a company gift which I wouldnt have picked myself, but turned out being better than expected. At +/- USD220 this is an excellent bang for buck camera. Fairly easy to quick shoot yet enough 'manual' features to tweak if you have the time or so inclined. - Features - Too many to mention them all, most all are useful ones (iso setting maybe the least). See dpreview DSC P71 for an idea of some of these which are common - Quality - Both ...

I bought this camera to use at work. It takes quite a beating. I think it's a great value for the money. The main feature that it is missing is optical zoom. Most people would not want to go without it. I don't need it at work. I use it to take pictures of machines that I work on (broken parts, etc). I need to be able to grab the camera and take a pic while my hands are covered in oil, grease, and dirt. So, the zoom would be at risk of getting gummed up and such. But, when I have used the ...

I just gought this camera about tree weeks ago and I am very please with results I've seen so far. The picture quility is gtreat even at picture sizes of 5x7 & 8x10 when I read in a magazine all 2 mp cameras prints are only good to 4x6. Well Sony has proved them wrong. This camera is light, compact, and has very usable, not only easy to use features for everyone. And when I print photos out with my hp deskjet 5550 printer pictures come looking least as good as 35mm pictures do.

I’m very pleased with this camera. The design brief was apparently for both a compact auto-everything point-and-shoot and a real photographer's camera with all the advanced features. They did very well meeting both goals. The compromise? No optical zoom. If you personally don’t mind taking all your photographs in wide angle, this is not a problem. More importantly, if most of the time the image is for web/email/on-screen viewing, then by cropping a 800x600 or 640x480 section from the full ...

-construction- This camera has been with me every day since the day i bought it, wether its to work or cycling around. It has taken a few bumps and knocks and still works a treat. -features- You get what you pay for is the normal saying, and well I got more than I payed for. A hand feature is the auto power off, if not this my batterys would drain pretty quickly because I have a habit of forgetting to turn it off. All the settings you can manipulate and adjust always allow for what would ...

Decent camera all around. Owned it for 30 days before exchanging it for the Panasonics Lumix DC-20, and already I am loving the optical zoom and the Lumix much more than this cam. If you are going to spend the $220 you should just spend the extra 50 bills and get a one with optical zoom because it is such a necasary feature. Battery use was amazing. Great for shooting outdoor photos on sunny days where you can get as close as you want. Other than that limited by lack of zoom. Problems: Ma ...
