Well, I love this camera for all the same reasons everyone else loves it. It is small, easy to take places, pretty easy to learn and use, and takes decent pictures. Once you get the hang of the settings (like white balance, exposure, focus, flash) taking an acceptable picture is not difficult. Its ability to record video for as long as the memory stick has space is very nice. Generally people (at least my friends) do not save or limit their amusing activity for a specific and consolidated 30 ...

Still one of the best 2.0MP camera's i guess. I still use the little camera alot besides my other cameras, and sometimes it even outclasses my 5MP, the lcd screen is very accurate, the white balance modes are more than accurate, and when using a tripod, the images appear very sharp, the twilight mode is very good too, it's too bad Sony discontinued the P2, others people would still buy it over other 2MP cameras; i already upgraded, but i wanted to post this message because of the fun the P2 ...

I was looking for an affordable highly-compact digital camera that had 2MP and a nice lens (2x-3x optical zoom). Well, I discovered this and much more when I used the DSC-P2. Very nice structure, plenty of functions and very easy to use; this camera takes nice pics. I'm a SONY lover so maybe that's one of the reasons I like this camera the most. The LCD has a cover and the camera's body is 90% aluminium, so it wont break easily and it will fit very confortable in your hand. It has a nice HQX ...

I have had the P1 (What a nightmare) and the P9 that was a exchange (Long Story). Well though the p9 is better, it is by no means a great camera. As any compact camera there are some tradeoffs. And this camera's main trade off is performance in low light, flash, and picture quality. Also there are no manual controls and the manual focus I find not very useful Problems: Picture quality in flash conditions is not very good. Get a lot of grainy and overexposed pictures. Sometimes the ...
