J bought on EBAY this camera for 100 USD (75 euros). It is a very good One. J tested several cameras as this one, but more recently, but I think it is one of the best because of the image quality which is very good. Problems: none

Fantastic camera in several categories but... Problems: I had bad problems with the lens goup. It was changed two times and I always detected some points on the lens. I solicited Sony to change this camera to a DSC V-3 and They did it. All the problems finished. But when I bought this camera I payed 550€ in Portugal it´s very, very expensive

No matter what people post, I still love my P150. It might not have the most features and does suffer from the occasional bad picture or so, but what it has been for me is reliable. I've [unknowingly] dropped this camera on several occasions, and thank goodness it had a metal casing and showed little if any damage, or else... I especially like how it was so easy for me to pick up (having owned a P72 and testing this thing day and night helped too :-) ) given the older Sony interface [before ...

We purchased this camera last year based on the review stating that the image quality was really good for its size. I was looking for something small but with a larger megapixel to do "normal" pictures, pics of the dogs, the kids, a few landscapes when we go on vacation, etc. The camera has some very nice features, it is small and easy to use in auto-mode. I have found that in bright light it takes good quality pictures. I never had any problems with purple fringing or white balance, but ...

The main problem is bad images with fringing like the SONY 828 which I have, in dark places and with flash , the P 200 is much much better

Very good camera!!!!!!!!! This P150 is a great camera, mainly a point and shoot, but a few manual features if you want to try them out!!!, Good Cam, I bought a P100 in the past as my second camera, but it got broken so i replaced it with a P200, got great pictures with it, P200 that is, but encountered trouble with it in the way off spots on the pictures when viewed, took it back, got another, had same problem, tried to get another, screen had dead pixel, tok it back, got Olympus mju 800, ...

After a 6 month search, I have concluded that the Sony P150 this is the "best" point-and-shoot camera currently available. Canon SD200/300 are fast and have VGA movie mode but the image quality is "less than stellar". Canon S410/S500 produce better images although their SLOW shot-to-shot time and poor video quality shows their real age. I tried Nikon 5900 and was very disappointed in quality of indoor shots. It took a LONG time to focus and the white balance was way off !! My subjects ...

I purchased this as a light point and shoot for casual photography. After experimenting with it for six weeks I now dread picking the camera up for any reason. I have tried every conceivable combination of settings to achieve consistant results to no avail. This camera does an excellent job in ideal situations of lighting and contrast. However, in low light, low contrast, high contrast, indoor light or especially in backlight conditions you might as well forget it. Sony tech support ...

Revised, good and bad. If you read the reviews you will see a great difference in opinion and there is good reason for that, because some cameras in this model are not working right imho( over and under exposures ; thats where camera whites out when you point it outside) but if your willing to except lots of over exposures and blurs you can get some very good photos or if your willing to try out different cameras first which I truly and especially recommend.because why bid on ebay and risk ...
