This is a very good and small 5mp camera. The overall design and image quality are equal and in some cases better than the best small 5mp digicam available today, inlcuding the Canon S50. This is a fun to use and simple camera with excellent image quality. For the people who have no used this camera yet you should see the review at Steves Digicam http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/p10.html In this review you will find some samples that will help you to judge the image quality of this ...

Simpley the best! I have been using this camera for a couple of days and it is a WERY good camera. I was considering to by Sony P10, Canon S50 or Pentax 550, all these cameras are in my opinion wery good cameras but the battery, image 3:2 size, video 640x480 and price of the Sony made the diffrence. Construction: it fits good in your hand and all the buttons are the best i have seen from Sony, they are easy to push and they seem to be a good quality. Features: for a compact camera there is a ...

I used to have a P1 then P5 and now P10, that's a really good move, I like the new features (auto focus mode, histogram, 16 pics/sec mode, new buttons added on the camera for easy access to change the pics format or delete a pics) and the new movie format (VGA) sound on movie is much better than P5. Battery life has been improved, I used to have 60min with my P5 now it's 100min... nice! I like the P10 shape... so small, so great and so easy to carry! Problems: I took some indoors pictures ...

I bought the camera primarily for fishing trips and need a small camera to 'wear' on the stream. The P10 impressed me with its quality construction, easy-to-use controls, and small size. Automatic exposures were right-on both outdoors and in. Problems: Lack of sharp pics a big disapointment for me. After giving the P10 every chance taking several hundred pics, I purchased a V1 ONLY for the increased sharpness. I miss the P10 smaller size.

Very surprised at the poor image quality of this 5.0 megapixal camera. Don't buy it or at least go to a camera shop (Best Buy) and compare the quality of its photo vs the competition before buying. You will notice that this camera is not even close to cameras with 2 megapixal. Problems: I purchased this camera 2 weeks ago in anticipation of a highly pitched quality 5.0 Megapixel camera. Many websites touted how well this camera performed. I took no less than 200 shots with various ...

IGNORE the couple of "reviews" above. Scroll down to the "PROBLEMS" section for comments on these. I got the DSC-P12 pretty much as soon as it was released. Essentially, it's the same camera as the P10, only dark blue and comes with a leather belt case and an extra NP-FC11 battery pack. The memory stick supplied was 32MB. When choosing my camera, I had portability and ease of use in mind. Having tested the Konica KD-500 and Canon Powershot S400 (aka Digital Ixus 400) and the Olympus C-50 ...

I´ve had this Camera for about two weeks, and i haven´t even once been disappointed. It´s a very small cam, very handy, and it is very easy to use. The features and the image quality is excellent. Up to 5 mp images certainly guarantee a nice memory of your precious moments of your life. Problems: No software programme for Linux High resolution pictures-need a lot of memory space

Overall, this is a great camera. Nice features and resolution for the size! compared to the s400, i liked the sony better, it looks and feels like a cool mini-camera. the canon s400 while excellent, felt and looked like a brick, but still cool. good: 1) size and shape 2) battery meter 3) movie mode, scene mode, quick resolution change 4) great resolution and detail 5) easy to use, point and shoot bad: 1) no instant preview 2) price is high 3) lcd not so good indoors, too dark 4) movie mode ...

It's a FANTASTIC camara. Very handy and easy to use. Great features (especially the options to shoot movie clips with sound and pictures with sound). Excellent image quality. The best camara I have ever had :-) Problems: The battery should be recharged every day :-(
