I've had this camera for about a week now and all i can say is that it's absolutely gorgeous! Yes you won't get DSLR like image quality. The GPS works only outdoors. It's also slightly on the slower side (Im using a Class 4 card) But when it gets down to clicking photos, this camera shines like a star. All the cons are forgotten. The focus is sharp, colours are vivid, 3D is fab and the screen is fantastic. I would reccomend this camera to anyone. If you are looking for a camera within $300, ...

I upgraded software PMB and I have impression that also firmware in camera was updated. This pocket camera is very fast outdoor and fast indoor. I bought it for recording and I'm glad. Pictures are good ( it isn't DSLR so there isn't so many details but also noises were removed -I see it in Eizo 2433) and for printout size 15x21cm are very good. It can recording during charging - I have in my set outside charger. It recording 29 min 50 seconds and stops so you must push recording button ...

Incredible features and they are executed well - the movies are spectacular except for low light (as with stills). WARNING - everything is very slow - more like using a computer than a consumer device: 1. Takes about 10 seconds blinking "stand by" before recording starts - you miss everything unless you are planning way ahead. 2. To view a picture when in record mode takes an average of 8 seconds as "Accessing" is on the screen. 3. After finishing a video it takes a minimum of 10 seconds ...

First of all I didnt take the HX7V into consideration, because it is a Sony. They always do something special, like Memory Stick, special drivers for Laptops so that you cannot upgrade, special connectors, etc. But I have to commit, that they made a nice little camera with the HX7V. Here are my pros: + nice compact design, good haptic + good optical zoom 25- 250 mm + very good antishake mechanism + nice fasst HDR mode (makes 3 shots within 0,5 sec) + bracketing up to 3 shots with +/- 1EV and ...

Excellent picture quality and fast focus, but otherwise just too slow for me. Start up is slower than on other recent models. Zoom takes a full second before it starts zooming and I had expected better low light capabilities from this one. The GPS is very basic in what it shows (Lat Long only) and slow to lock in. Not sure if mine came with a bad battery but I got less than 100 pictures per charge with the GPS on. Changed to the Fuji F550EXR where everything was faster and the battery good ...
