I admid I have allot of camera's including DslR and Nex3 FZ100 and so on. But this one do it all. The focus system is fast and reable, somtinge others have missed the point. My other zooms also shoot 10 frames a second ,But missed the point, when your furst lock in takes ages. I do not matter when it can shoot 10 frames or more, you are to late anyway. Lucky the sony HX100V lock in focus so fast,it is unbelieve. Also tracking focus work wel. I mage qalitie is realy good,At 100% view it look more ...

Had the camera for about a month now and have taken quite a few photos experimenting with all the different settings.I love the flexability and the great pictures it takes. Most photos are tken in either Manual or Aperture, but when I am just walking around and want to snap photos, the Superior is the best. I still have lots more to investigate. Fantastic super zoom. Problems: Try finding the Macro mode. The only way I can find accessing it is by using the Gourmet scene. They have no button, ...

I needed a pocket camera to replace the good Panasonic Lumix TZ7 when I can't travel with my bag and the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and its lenses which are very heavy. So I bought a Sony DSC-HX5V which is too slow and only good for video HD. dpreview and some other forums showed me that it was actually quite difficult to get a good pocket camera. So even if what we call "bridge" in France is not pocket camera, I tested some bridges, first the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 which was interesting with its ...

I own a SONY HX1... since the SONY Hx1OOv came out (2011), I got more interested on this model. because of its NEW features and a MANUAL Control Lens, has a 30x zoom and higher pixels... and most of all it still has the 10fps burst mode. Now I owned one. In comparisson to the old SONY HX1.... well, this SONY HX1OOv has more GREAT features. There is NO profesional cameras that has a 3D sweep Panoramic mode. Picture wise, it has more ACCURATE exposure, better QUALITY detailed color ...

This is by far the best camera I have ever owned. Mostly a point & shoot person with a Pentax X70. This unit is soooooooo easy to use and learn and takes great pics/movies/pan shoots out of the box. Problems: Non so far, just my learning curve to get off of auto and into program mode.

I'v bought the 100 as a update for my HX1,for a week ago,and test it a lot,its a greath cam,with much more gadged's than the XH1,pictures are very good,shure in the dark,but also the HX1 wasn't affraid in the dark!,the 100 has a little minor noise with high ISO,the 1 has 9.1 mpix,this one is 16 mpix,so you expect,a lot more sharpness,this is dissapointing,ist not ''double''shaprness,the movie function is exelent,the 1 has a not fluent picture in movie mode,even in the dark,this is solved by ...
