A camera that makes you *want* to shoot. You want to take it out. You want to flick the on switch. You want to flick to EVF. Just holding the camera makes you feel good. How about that? All the rest about image quality, construction etc. has already been said. Very happy owner. Problems: Features can be more refined. Would be nice to have: - Multi-frame AEL - Dedicated gallery vs. shooting mode switch (like T1)

After owning a Toshiba PDR-M4 for three years, and having travelled extensively with it throughout Europe due to a two semester stint at Aalborg University in Denmark, I decided it was time to pass it on to my mother, who as a flight attendant for American Airlines, is doing quite a bit more travelling than myself. I felt it was only fair to continue the camera's legacy of exploration by passing it on to someone who I could trust would take it all over the place, if only the continental U.S. ...

This camera turned out to be much, much better than I expected. It was actually my third choice originally, and had the online stores I ordered from been able to deliver, I would have ended up with a different camera altogether. That was before I read reviews by owners of this camera, however. In the end, I was grateful that I was able to acquire this camera. It has taken incredible photos since day one, and I have literally filled web sites with action shots as well as great action and ...

The most important Camera of it's time. Sony F717 Sceptical. If there is one word to describe my entry into the digital market, that would be it. I'm a hardened 35mm man, Pentax body and glass. No substitute existed in my mind if you were talking good photography. I've been scoffing at digital camera's for a long time, beleiving that the image quality is "just not up to 35mm standards yet". Enter the Sony F717. What a surprise. What a pleasure. What a camera. From day one I was taking ...

Problems: There sems to be a yellow tinge to photos taken in certain situations. This is present in almost all clinical photographs which I have taken. Outdoor or photos taken beyond 6 feet are fine.
