This camer a great. It was easy to use and the features were great. The image quality was a lot better than I expected and the construction was also great. When I loaded the images onto my computer they weren't blury or anything, but it was tough to loaded it onto my computer. It is light to carry around if you're on a vacation. The price a first was a little high, but when you use it, then you will then know why it is that price. The only bad thing was that it was short of memory. Problems:

Review from a longtime Sony 505V user - I have had my Sony 505V for about 6 months, and I've taken thousands of pictures with it in all indoor and outdoor conditions traveling across Thailand and China for business. The controls are excellently placed, and once learned one can intuitively manipulate the settings. I wanted a camera with an innovative ...

Purchased the F505V after reading the in depth review and long comparisons between Nikon and others. Paid a higher price ($899.)to buy it local in case I wanted to return it -- but after five days of heavy use you couldn't tear this thing out of my hands. Wonderful shots ( I shoot antique toys -- vintage Marxplaysets) often in extreme close up. Detail and color are importyant to me and the V is supreme. Since I use Nikon 35mm and Sony digital 8mm often the learning curve was a breeze. ...
