In 2002, i think F505 still has its market, because of its excellent Quality and ease of use, everybody could take a good photo with it, amazing. Problems: the main problem must be the battery life, i wonder why doesn't have a external high capacity battery pick for it (or other DC). to have more FS-11 battery, is not a good method to solve the problem of short battery life 3 of my 4 FS-11 batteries dead, is FS-11 the problem?

I bought this camera two years ago. I was very happy with it, though it did not have the features of a conventional camera. Photo quality is excellent. Because of the body-rotation I was able to take so many interesting photos of people who did not realise they were being shot at. This camera is a bit out of date and I am looking forward to the 707. Problems: Battery life/quality is very poor. Bought three batteries, two are dead and the third one is in the terminal phase. Manual focus is ...

It's my first digicam I've ever had and it's great for the hobby-photographer...after a while you do get limitations with the cam, like space and battery time, but well digital cameras just haven't passed analog cameras in the race yet. Great camera! But better buy the 770 that's the newest version. Problems: - 15 sec 320x240 HQ movie limitation! - Low Battery time - At high resolutions gets blurry and ugly

I've had this camera for about a year and it works great!!! The pictures works great I"ve even had some 640x480 pics enlarged to 8x10 with great results on kodak paper... The time lapse and the night modes worked great on outdoor night events (i.e. fireworks, got some good shots with that) There is a trick to cleaning that LCD , no specialized equipment needed, just some good old fashioned.... SCOTCH TAPE!! works wonders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Problems: Indoor low light situations tend to make the ...

I have had this cam for som little time now. It's a great camera I think. I think Sony could put at least 8MB instead of 4MB space with it. Else I like it to post live picture on bigscrenn too with this camera. It's a camera that is easy to work with and great quality Problems: If the Blitz shall work you have to stand wery close.

I've taken thousands of photos with this camera. Love it. Reliable, battery levels are reliable and on point. Macro works great. Flash position on top of lens barrel darkens lower 1/3 of photo on macro. Zoom lens works best outdoors. Flash is limited to approx. 8 feet. Controls for flash setting work well. Problems: Night shots and framing is something you need to practice to get right. Focus lock can be difficult in low light situations. After taking photo, thinking it looks sharp on LCD, ...

Design is wonderful, it handles very well after you get used to the position of the important buttons (use the lense, not the body). I like the: - quality of the lense - memory stick (by a 64mb) - additional casing (bought separate) - battery, quick recharge, 1 hour work. The most I like the fact that you can tilt the lense, when taking pictures of people (in combination with the zoom), they hardly notice the thing. I get more spontanious pictures. Problems: - Flash (buy a seperate one that ...

I have spent my first 40 days with the 505, learning how to use it by experimenting with the well documented strenghts and weaknesses. I now respect the camera much more than when I first chose the 505. This is an awesome piece of engineering and offers the user photographic possibilities I was not expecting. I am now capturing images which I never thought would be done by my own hand, and have had more fun than I imagined as well. I've handled many camera's, but nothing has matched the ...
