A good deal for the money, and at around a focal length I use a lot. On M43 it's around 38 mm (35mm equiv.), might seem a bit wider in a non correcting Raw converter. Rattles (linear motor) but focuses fast, even in reasonably low light. Sharp enough. Do get lens error once in a while, but push the lens release and it clears itself. Easy to use zone focused (once the distance is set - why don't these cameras have distance scales available?) There are probably better lenses out there, but for ...

Almost all the time on my Pen E-P2. Used in in the tropics and in the snow, no problems. Does what it is made for. On the negativ there is the" slow start". And sometimes there is a ". Lens fault"' but a simple turn on the lens, like you want to take it off the body and everything is alright. So it's not the smallest, fastest lens, but maybe one of the cheapest. With this lens you got yourself a very nice wide angle with a nice bokeh and that all for a more than reasonable price. BTW it ...

I bought this lens together with the 30mm Sigma. It is about the same size as the 1442 kit lens on My Olympus EP3 and is a tad heavier. Construction is good and does focus quickly and accurately. Smooth manual focusing. Nothing much to look at.
