Product description
Announced Feb 14, 2005

The Sigma APO 800mm F5.6 EX DG is a large aperture ultra-telephoto lens for full-frame and APS-C digital SLRs. Two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass elements provide optimum color correction and sharpness, and a new multi-layer lens coating technology and optical formula reduces flare and ghosting. This lens features rear-insertion 46mm filters and is compatible with the Sigma’s APO dedicated Tele converter 1.4x & 2x to provide additional focal length, at the expense of autofocus.
