Sigma's image stabilized superzoom combines a huge 13.9x zoom range with respectable optics, fast quiet autofocus and very good build quality for its class. Image quality is best in the wideangle to short telephoto range, but gets weaker at longer focal lengths. The image stabilization system isn't quite as good as its competitors, but aside from that it's a very competent all-in-one lens.
