Purchased this lens for wildlife photography in a dusty location. It did not disappoint. Used it with my 5D MIII and a canon 1.4X v2 tele extender. Focus was fast and accurate. Zoom was smooth and most helpful when we were able to get close to large animals. Got some great shots. (If interested check my recent web page folders for Kenya and Tanzania. I decided to bring the lens to fashion week and use it almost exclusively. Usually I will use the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II, but I thought I needed to change things up. I did my post processing with DXO Optics 9 converting from raw to jpg. I did not do any re-touching on the faces. All I did was fix the white balance which I had determined by meter to be at about 2700 kelvin. I process all photos through DXO Optics 9 with the "Prime" noise reduction setting. This fast, sharp and very useful lens is a dream for every fotographer, which like to take photos of animals an sports. Pricing is also very interesting. Great lens!
