Hello, I currently use the A55 with the 18-250mm, 10-20mm and 30mm f/1.4 lenses. The A55 has served me well for five years, but it's starting to show its age (loses connectivity with lenses, occasionally produces wildly over- or under-exposed images, etc). In addition, the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 always back focused on it, so I've used manual focus (thank god for the EVF), and now the other two lenses also focus less reliably. The obvious solution would be to replace my system with the A6300,...

Hello All, I was hoping someone may be kind enough to help me out regarding the subject lens. I am an amateur photographer who purchased the lens for my Nikon D5300. After using it a few times, I have decided that I would like to buy an automatic focus lens. I am now looking to sell it and don't know what camera's this lens would be compatible with for any potential buyers looking to purchase it from me. I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me what kind of cameras this lens would...

Hi Guys! For too long I have been lurking around the boards here, the amount of information and support is just amazing, thank you all for that! But now I stumbled on a issue for which I couldn't really find the answer for. My question concerns switching my current Sigma 10-20 4.5-5.6 for the Tokina 11-20/2.8.It's quite odd that there is very little information or user experience with this new Tokina lens. I know the 11-16 gets high praises for its sharpness but somehow the flaring scares me...

Hello, Im new to photography and wanted to get an opinion from you all. I am headed to Las Vegas in a few weeks and am considering booking a helicopter tour with no doors at night.  Is the Nikon D5300 a good camera to take? This is all I have at the moment. Along with the kit lens 18-55mm lens, I also have a Sigma 10-20mm lens. Which would you suggest for good shots? Lastly, what recommended settings would you have? Thank you in advance.

I’m looking at a purchasing a wide angle lens for milky way shots and general astrophotography and some time lapse work if possible. I have done a bit of research on the tokina 11-16 and the sigma 10-20mm line of lenses that fall well within my price point. I’m still unsure about which would yield better results or if there are other lenses available that would work in this situation. I don’t mind going for a prime lens but I am looking for super wide angle, max 20mm but would rather go...

I would like a lense with a zoom range wider than my old (and faulty) kit lense, but do not know which one to get. Do I buy a Sigma 10-20, a Tamron 10-24, or save up for something more expensive? Just looking for some advice Thanks!

I have been shooting with my first DSLR (D5000) since 2009. I am not a pro, just use the camera on my business travels and with my Family (mostly my kid nowadays). My lenses are 35mm 1.8G, Sigma 10-20 and Tamron 90mm f2.8. I believe only the Tamron supports full frame. I believe going to D7100 will not add much since D5000 is already a great camera and the next step would be going to full frame. My budget is around 3.5k (after selling a CAM recorder from Canon) for the body and 1 or 2 lenses....
