Hi! I use an Eizo SX2462W with the Eizo EX1 (Datacolor Spyder3, I believe) calibration device. My problem is that Eizo will no longer develop EasyPix for mac, meaning no support for the OS X El Capitan. Is there any alternative software I can use for my EX1/Spyder3 device for hardware calibration? Thanks!
I'm venturing into the world of studio photography and bought two kits yesterday. One is the Interfit EX150 MKIII 2 from B&H. While using it as a flash, I noticed an issue with what seemed like half of the flash being cut off. I re-positioned the flash several times and moved myself around as well. I decreased my shutter speed to 1/200-250 because I thought maybe it was an issue of flicker with the type of light. Nothing seemed to work. Below are a few examples of what I mean. M 1/400 F1.8...
All I found 'recently' here was this from four years back.... Do you wonder what exactly the EX1/TL500's Dual Image Stabilization does? Is it some sort of computerized detection and correction of blur? I think I have the answer, and it does not involve any sort of magic--if fact, I'm tempted to say that any unique claims for this function at least border on the misleading. I took two sets of photos in our fairly dark basement: one set with the P setting, ISO100, optical IS on, and the other...
Hi I seem to have lost the ability to select RAW on my EX1. I have tried various settings, including resetting the camera completely, but still can no longer select RAW, RAW+Jpg etc. It happened just I was about to go into a concert where I really needed RAW too :o( AND I got a great place near the front Grrrr. I had been able to select RAW in the build up to the gig, but then used the flash briefly, switched that back off, and have not been able to get RAW since. Any ideas? Thanks Julian
I was hoping some members here have some experience in transferring old print photos to digital photos and the limitations I may face using a Samsung TL500. To get to the meat, I have old photos and school class composites dating from the 1920s to about 1984. There are no negatives and some are in bad shape. The prints I physically have in my possession range from probably 3"x3" all the way up to (roughly) 4'x4' school composites. I'm using the large 4'x4' composites because nothing else...
I need a new one and haven't found a samsung brand battery locally. I've found them online but it's more than two weeks before they would ship and that's not soon enough. I have found off brands. Can anyone recommend a good quick source for the Samsung brand or recommend an a quality off-brand? Or is there another battery number that replaces the SLB-11A? I have found a Rayovac CAM10530 which BatteriesPlus says is a replacement for the 11A. The 11A is a 1130 may while the Rayovac is 1000....
I just got back into printing recently with an Epson 3880. I am thinking of getting the Sony a7r -but - since I'm limited to prints that are 17x22, would I see a difference between my OM-5 or EX1 prints at that size and the new Sony a7r (or any FF) or am i just looking for a reason to get a new camera.
