Great little camera, totally agree with kevm14's!! As far as the post about sticking with Nikon, the guy as to be jokingggg, this camera compares very highly to the L series..I havent read a review that asn't slamed the lag on any of the L's 14 etc slowwwww .. This is a great little camera, that i use purely for candid shots, its simple, nice size and pretty much non threatening which is ideal for close candid work...I like that it starts up at 35mm eq personally i rarely even use the zoom,i just ...

Bought this camera for $69 USD. This is a perfect camera to give to a teenager. Very easy to use. A great deal ... can't beat the price. Image quality is quite good for a $69 camera.

Don't believe all the praise, the truth remains, it is an underdog brand. Proved once again, if you want to get quality stick with Nikon or Canon. Pana, Pentax, Samsung, Kodak, HP, Fuji... They all offer the same, excellent set of functions with mediocre image quality. Very limited dynamic range, hurrible white balance, noisy images that require a lot of post processing time. Full of color controls that do very little, which makes it useless. Excellent screen that you can't trust, images ...

I posted a pretty extensive review at PriceGrabber (I'm assuming linking is not allowed), but let me go over the highlights. I've got a Nikon D70s, 4 lenses, a flash, a bag, tripods, etc., so I wanted something pocket-size for all those times I either didn't feel like lugging my dSLR kit around or just didn't happen to have it with me. So as a dSLR owner I had certain desires in a P&S. I think the 3 main criteria are speed, high ISO noise and wide angle. Now, there are various cameras on ...

All of my rating points should be taken "for the price" and not as absolutes. Let me say right away that my experience is with the S630, which is basically the same camera, but what I was reading here was so contrary to my own experience that I had to say something. About battery life, first off if you don't have at least a half dozen rechargeables, you're not much of a photographer to start with. Secondly, I discovered that this camera is good for 2-3 hours of intermittent shooting if you ...

This camera was purchased for the sole purpose of hanging out in my bag until those drunken party nights need to be documented. No doubt I'll find other daily uses for it, but lugging the DSLR kit around was not a great idea in every situation. This camera was $149.99 at Circuit City and came with a free 512mb SD card made by Polaroid. Out of the box I felt the construction felt like a toy camera. It's definitely matte black plastic, but again for my needs it is ok. I am not convinced that ...
