Love the design and build of this camera Tons of features makes this camera fun to play with. As for image quality, there is visible noise at anything over ISO 400 but got to remember that this is a point and shoot camera. Can't expect it to perform like a DSLR. Bought this for $199 at Circuit City and for the money, its a great deal Problems: Noise at anything over ISO 400 but what do you expect from a point and shoot camera? Is this is an issue, go with a DSLR.

This was replacing a Minolta Dimage XT and bought just before Xmas to take to Australia for 2 weeks. It turned out to be a stunning little camera, easy to use, full of modes and features with enough manual control to keep me happy. Soft keys work perfectly, need to get used to their operation but they keep everything within a couple of presses and are a real boon when you need to change something quickly. Image quality is excellent for a camera of this size and cost. Noisy at ISO400 and ...

I've always carried a ultra compact camera for backup and impromtu shots. Up to now I've been very disappointed with my Nikon Coolpix S1. This NV10 is absolutely night and day a cut above the Nikon. Perefect pictures every time in any light indoors or out. Problems: None after one month

I am very happy with this camera. As a camera to take with me on vacation, it satisfies all my needs. Keep in mind that this is an ultra compact camera, so don't expect noise-free, sharp, low-light shots from it. It really is a camera in its own class. I used a Canon AE1 Program with various lenses for many years before I bought my first digital camera: Sony DSC-F505. Among cameras that I subsequently bought, I have the Minolta Dimage X and DiMAGE A1. I don't normally care much about ...

I bought the NV10 as a gift for my family. The overall design is unique looking (classy), unique to use. The metal body is solid and easy to hold thanks to the side protuding grip. People will be looking at this NV10, what cmera is it? And you can charge it on your laptop or on the AC outlet. The user interface is unique and in fact I wish it shows up on a DSLR. Samsung, Pentax put it on your GX10 and K10d if you are listening! Very intuitive, no more wondering where is it hiding inside the ...

I bought this camera, not for myself, but as a gift for my oldest daughter. My youngest got Elph 630. While there are some issues with the NV10, I paid $310 for a 10 megapixel camera that when using below ISO 400 is just a spectacular value for the money. I am sometimes amazed at some of the "professional reviews" who expect noise free images at high ISO values when they ARE REVIEWING A $300 dollar camera. Once you learn some of the fine details of this camera, you can eliminate some of ...

This will be a classic. Compact size, excellent image quality, solid build. With the possible exception of a Leica M3, this is the best camera I have owned. It's portability is a huge advantage.

I am very pleased with the NV10 as my first digicam, which supplements a film rangefinder camera. I purchased the NV10 on the basis of perceived performance (no evaluations were available at the time of purchase), cost and size. Build quality is excellent, though the pop-up flash might be vulnerable to excessive wear and tear over time. Once mastered, the interface is extremely functional - in my view, a great improvement over the more traditional button and menu approach found on other ...

Beautiful little camera. The body alone does it for me (very sexy design). Does a decent job on photos, except bright highlights can be extremely blown out. Looks a lot bigger than it is - drops easily into a pocket. Here are a few quick snaps I took (no post processing except cropping and resizing) rjolmstead.smugmug.com/gallery/1932339 RJ Olmstead RJOriginals.net Problems: Noise is an issue over 200ISO. Touch buttons can be a little frustrating (big fingers may have a problem), but ...
