I had an Olympus and Nikon point and shoot before this one. This is the worse value for money. Features are limited. Compare the features with other camera of your choice. Image result doesn't match up well (off center) to the image on the view screen.... Stay away, see below. Problems: Other customers complained about the following problem. It probably an engineering problem. The view screen went black after 80+ picture. I had it repaired. Another 24 pictures, same thing happened. It ...

What I wanted was a small camera with enough capabilities. This camera has it. I'm impressed by the ASR function, but I'm aware of the limitations when it is used with fast moving objects. Capturing mpeg4 movies with functional optical zoom and a pauze function is a big plus (H.264 would have been better, but mpeg4 is fine too). In addition, I wanted video at least similar or better than the Flip Video Camcorders, which can do an hour of low quality video in a small package. The image ...

I have had this camer for a week or so. The camera is well built very solid, but a bit heavy. I never used to like the style of the cameras with no extending lens. I really like the looks of this camera. Its picture quality is great. The prints look fabulous. I had a Sony t100 and returned it because of the high iso noise in the pictures. The Samsungs colors are accurate and not artificial like most of the sonys colors. The start up time is a bit slower than the canon or the sony but ...
