I don't care for the 1/2 cases. I'd like the case to be better sealed against dust/lint/splash when closed (generally zipped). I have the original Samsung case purchased for eight dollars free ship. Pro; Very inexpensive.Rigid case, protective of falls, bumps.Excellent protection of lens body with rigid cup covering it in a way that puts no stress on the lens at all when case is closed. Decent fast access when needed by simply raising flap and removing camera Con; Not at all well sealed...
I've got a couple of items on order. Samsung EX2F and a 52mm extension barrel to fit 52mm filters and lenses in front of the fixed lens on the camera. A knurled ring is removed from the base of the lens and the barrel is screwed in place. It permits the use of 52mm threaded filters and lenses. I am ready to order this kit this...

Are these specials usually the case of either a camera/lens that is too new to judge by reviews and forum content and therefore a gamble, or a case of a camera/lens one...
Hi, I'm new here and would love a bit of help. I'm looking to replace my old point and shoot, or compact camera before an upcoming trip over seas. I know I want good quality optics, good low light capability, and ability to fit it in my pockets. I would also like to have some sort of wifi or NFC, but don't need long zoom or view finder for this camera. This has brought me to the RX100 mark 2...and a few questions. Assuming I purchase the Mark 2, can anyone confirm that it will work with...
