This camera is a great camera for the price with some nice basic features. I bought this camera for an add on to the computer. ebay shots etc...This camera is no replacement for my 35 mm canon.I could of spent more money for a better digital camera but i didn't want exspensive outdated technolgy lying around.when a few more years go by I can get one better than the canon A80 for half the price.

I was looking for an inexpensive 2nd digital camera. Pay a bit more and get the Canon A60 (feature rich). Problems: Eats batteries. No lens protection when camera is off. I returned it.

In the Netherlands you can buy the same camera with the name Jenoptik JD 2100 z3S. See the Site http://www.jenoptik-camera.com At this moment 1-July-03 you can buy it for 145 Euro or 150 $ !!!! So for me and 145 Euro I have no think about it to buy the camera. I was very amazed about the good quality of the images. I have seen poor images with 3.2 Mb. For a good review of this camera see also the Site http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/electronics/digital_camera/jenoptik_jd_2100_z3_s/_review Problems: T ...

The camera is relatively easy to use and images are relatively clear. There is however significant parralex on the extremes of the photo. Examples of photos I have taken can be seen at www.freewebs.com/briggs_updates/. It should be noted that these photos have been resized and brightness/sharpness may have been corrected, but it gives you some idea of the quality of the photos. Problems: On some photos in dull lighting conditions, the top left of images is darker than the rest of the image ...

Easy to download images. Easy connection to PC and TV. Slower than normal camera (expected). Got faster speed by using ISO 400 with no real quality loss. Batteries and charger is a bonus and lasts quite long. Problems: Cannot save ISO and flash settings (real pain)

I bought this camera for £164 from Makro after comparing features with cameras in the 2meg pixel, zoom lens class. The value swayed me first, but reviews on the competitors helped. I have not been disappointed with the results. 1600 x 1200 is best to use for quality and both indoor and outdoor pictures are ok. Focus is fine in good light, but but takes longer when illumination levels fall. Like the other reviewer, I dislike the flash that defaults to redeye when you switch on. I have ...

I bought this camera for £135+VAT and was pleasantly surprised by the results obtained. I chose this camera because of: a) excellent reviews posted on other sites b) the price c) I wanted to get into the digital revolution without breaking the bank The picture quality and colour rendition of this camera are excellent - I can easily reproduce 10"x8" photographs onto photo-glossy paper which are almost indistinguishable from those produced on my 35mm Minolta, and I can see the results straight ...
