I have had this camera for about a week now and I have just about figured out all its features. There is an awful lot to get through and the manual is over 100 pages. Having said that the benefits of spending time getting to know the camera have paid off and I have obtained some absolutely stunning photos. I have been absolutely blown away with the macro function which I have never seen bettered in any format it is out of this world !!! I have produced some studio quality pictures after just ...

Excellent combination of features for nearly all levels of photography. Great size and weight. Like others have said, you willl want to but multiple 129 Mg cards, second battery, AC adapter, and remote control. Problems: Problem was rapidly remedied by Fry's - excellent vendor!!

Brilliant camera with great features for any occasion. Being a biker I need a camera that can be carried with ease, and nothing comes close to this with comparable specs. I bought my camera here in England at the end of November over the Internet and got a very good deal to include an extra 128mb card and a second battery. Both these items I would recommend to anyone as they increase the usability enormously. The camera is so easy to hold in any position that only a fool would have ...

I'm impressed by the construction quality of the Ricoh Caplio RR1, and by the ergonomics -- everything feels just right. The menus and settings are well thought out and more intuitive than most other digital cameras. The design is unique, but it's a good one. The price makes it a good buy. I also have a Nikon CoolPix 950. A good camera, but the smaller size of the Ricoh means that I carry it around much more frequently -- easily fits in a jacket or coat pocket. Image quality? I definitely ...

This camera is unbelievably easy to use, however you really need to read the manual (158+ pages) to figure out all the great features this camera has. The sad part is - it is only available direct from Ricoh or Fry's Electronics, and of the two only Ricoh has online ordering (plus they have posted on their website they will be sold out before Christmas). Also had to pay full price too, but it's the first time in a long time I haven't mind doing it after I'd been able to get the product in my ...
