I brought the camera second hand from my friend, certainly at a lower than street price. But I do love it for its compactness, though need to spend a while to glimpse through what I could play with it. Image quality is good even without any Photoshop-like softwere adjustment. Problems: 1. Hand grip on top part is too slippery to ensure holding firm of the camera. 2. Flashlight is too weak for any object about 1 M away indoor or low lighting environment. 3. Shutter response is too slow. ...

Superb macro. Sharp and yet soft image. Very easy to carry. Handy and readable copier of books and papers. Very few noises. Excellent value for the money. Problems: The CCD board seems placed a bit off parallel to the camera's side line and cannot produce horizontal line images at a level when taken through the viewfinder that inevitably has to be used in the sun. The dynamic range is a bit too narrow to objects with high contrast.

Excellent camera, very compact. Outstanding macro capability and great movie features (more than 11 minutes on a 128MB card). Takes time to learn and get used to using the camera, but once you do, it's a pleasure to have it. Swivelling LCD makes taking pictures at odd angles a piece of cake. No need to get the remote control because you can always use the self-timer. Do the firmware upgrade to accommodate 128MB cards. Get a second battery, and you are well on your way. Problems: Things I ...

I carry the camera every where I go. It takes the best pictures for such a small camera. It took a bit of time to learn all the functions but am feeling more comfortable with it as i take pics with it. My one bone to pick would be having to convert the avi file to mpeg, no biggy but a pain in the a--! Just got an external battery pack the size of a pager to extend camra on time and carry two of the stock rechargeables along with 3 128 mb memory cards and the remote and it all fits into an ...

My only complaint with this great little camera is that the LCD screen is not bright enough for satisfactory outdoor use. However, I get wonderful results. Problems: None

Dissapointed that the Camera only lasted for 18 months before a serious problem was encountered Problems: The LCD screen failed to work after approxomately 18 months. Ni pictures could be taken because of an apparant shutter failure. Can only be serviced and hopefully fixed in Hong Kong at factory workshop.

Exellent ( flat !) camera. Very good lens.LCD is protected when not in use. No outside moving lens parts makes the camera less vulnerable . I specially love the macro and the rotable LCD. Battery similar to fuji and kodak is better than an unique battery like canon camera's are using Problems: sometimes focusing is slow or difficult

My first digicam, had it for about a year, taken thousands of pictures. A good first camera, small enough to carry everywhere (work, trips to china, evening dinners and parties, in the car), decent picture quality, most controls available -- but just not enough external controls and not quite quick enough for my purposes any more. (I'm playing with my new Sony F707 and definitely very impressed by comparison in all departments except for damn memory sticks (low capacity), continuous shooting ...
