Hey everyone  I have spent a few weeks online (dpreview) and other places researching these two lenses.  I have read all the reviews and questions posted in this forum and was wondering if anyone could help me out.  Photography is my hobby, although I like good IQ and being able to take the best possible pictures. First DSLR I have had for a year or so is the Canon 650D.  I have: 50 1.8, 18-55kit, 55-250ISIn the future I would like to get: 70-200f4, 100 2.8, 10-18 (All canon) Do: take a few...

Does anybody else have problems with the Epson Stylus Photo R800 under Yosemite? It keeps spitting out blank pages and blocking while printing giving me an error message about the print media not loading properly. This surfaced after I updated to 10.10 (aka Yosemite).

Does anyone make a small printer that can do 8.5 by 11 inch prints that uses pigment ink so they don't fade? I haven't watched the models of printers for a while now. I know Epson at one time made a R800. Or is it you have to go to a 13 inch wide printer to get prints that don't fade. Dye inks all fade rapidly when exposed to the air.  --http://www.pbase.com/dc9mm

I have an Epson printer, and in order to ge the best color management, I need to specify a profile when I print in Aperture.  The profile, as I understand it, describes the paper's response to various colors.  My question is:  if I acquired some profiles with an older Epson printer I no longer have (an R800), are they usable with my current printer, an Epson Artisan 800?  The profiles have names like "SPR800 PremGlsy BstPhoto R1".

Hi Folks, I have a weird issue with my Epson R800 printer. I brought in on-line after long time in storage, all nozzles cleaned fine but red printhead test print is weird, nozzles seem to be quite in disarray: I think this leads to print problems such as this one: Does anyone have an idea if it can be resolved? Thanks

Hi, Reading as much as I can about these two cameras. It will be my first DSRL. I still own my Minolta Dinax 505si that I still use specially for slides photos and a compact Ricoh R8. I've collected quite good impressions on both cameras, maily to be used outside. Photography is still a hobby for me but I pretend to make a good investment in a camera that will allow me to make future progresses and enter into HDR. Can someone help me on this choice to be done? Thanks in advance. Edrisse

I have a old Epson Stylus R800 that was a very good A4 printer. But the last year I have wasted so much ink on bad prints caused by cloging. Time to by a new printer! It seems that the Stylus P50 might be a good replasment. I need good quality pigment ink for archival use. Is this the printer to buy or do Canon/ Hp have better products?
