I was able to handle the X70 but found the shooting display difficult to read because it was too fine or faint for my eyesight which was the only major reason for passing on purchasing it.  (and too wide fov to a lesser degree) Can I assume the X100T would be the same size and font format? --Ivan

Just received my X70 last week and so far it seems to be the nearly ideal camera for me (size, big sensor and analog dials!!). Although I'm just shooting to get the feel of it, I find that with factory settings it is not as sharp as I hoped for a prime lens. Looking at Fuji x70 pics on Flickr, many of the images have sharpness set to hard which seems like it would be a bit much but Im wondering what those of you who have been using it awhile use for settings to achieve optimum...

Hi there, I'm the proud owner of a Canon S90 and I am considering upgrading to a Fujifilm X70. I'm rather clueless when it comes to camera technology but I may be swayed by the good reviews and -I have to admit- the 'retro' looks. I love the manual controls on the S90 and love the pocketability. Will the Fujifilm X70 be a significant upgrade from the S90 in terms of image quality (I reckon that would be the major yardstick by which to consider an upgrade?) Thanks!

Hi All, I have a new X70. Image quality is exemplary. But... Now I cannot get my AF/AE Lock button to work. It worked when I got the camera a few weeks ago, now it does not. I'm certain it's some other camera setting I chose that has disabled it, but I cannot figure it out. The manual is no help. Here are some of my current settings: Aperture-preferred AE Focus Mode switch = S AE/AF Lock mode = S (on/off switch mode) AE/AF Lock button set to AE-L (auto exposure lock only) Drive mode = Still...

I'm looking to downsize from my X20 for two reasons -size and lack of full analog control. The X70 seems to be the solution but when I visited my closest camera store (where did they all go anyway?) and took it outside I was having difficulty seeing the exposure indicator (I am in my 60s so eyes are not what they once were). It wasn't even a bright day - slightly overcast actually. So my question to users is this: any trick to increasing visibility of the exposure meter on screen? I thought...

After a while I have succeeded in connecting to my PC. I think my main problems were that the PC autosave  setting is not as shown in the instructions just after wireless connection in the playback menu but on the following page and it was a while before I saw it.  The instructions also ask for a password which on my router is described as a key, which is different.  Having surmounted these obstacles it seems that there is no option to identify the images which you want to transfer.  The...
