Shooting my MX-1 I find a lot of noise in the images, even at low ISO values and in RAW files. What would you suggest or what do you use as a good software to get rid of the grainy appearance in your images without running into a watercolor effect at the same time ? Your opinion is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Rudi.
I recently received a new Pentax MX-1 and I'm also new to the Pentax brand. I need your help. I recently went out and shot some pictures with this camera and found that I really like it's feature set. However some of the trees and foliage in the scenic photos, under close examination, seem to be smeared. Been searching for a replacement, as I lost the lens cap for my MX-1 on vacation :-x ...but I'm unable to find O-LC130 anywhere to purchase. (O-LC130 comes up when I searched the Pentax site for the MX-1 accessories) If I search for MX-1 lens cap replacement, the O-LC52 comes up. If anyone could clarify, please let me know! Really don't want to purchase the wrong lens cap. Thanks in advance.
Skip to paragraph 3 to avoid the backstory... I currently own two Sony cameras, a DSC-P150 that I got about 10 years ago and a DSC-H7 that I got about 6 years ago. The P150 has been a tank and is still going strong, in spite of a broken battery door and a couple of artifacts on the sensor. I haven't ever been truly happy with the H7.
