Hi, everyone After have LX7 for a while, I want some thing has better image quality but with similar size, so get a used GF3 with 14mm/f2.5. After playing with GF3, although they have similar functions, some functions i cannot figure out. 1. In AFC, it keeps adjusting focus even camera is not moving. I can see the live view on LCD is defocusing and re-focusing, not much, just little bit. If I press in the middle of defocusing and re-focusing, I may get a blur picture (little blur) My current...

I am am confused over whether I can enlarge an image taken with a lumix GF3 to 16x20 and have the resolution be good quality. I set my camera to 4000x3000 under quality in the menu. I also shot in raw. i did some minor color correction in Picassa and exported it as a large image. However, when I upload it to Nation Photo, I get a resolution warning. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a newer model lumix to get better resolution?

A recent post originally concerning constant preview of EM5.2 at here had given rise to another question on the strange behavior of GX7. As per member Haslo's good information, I just realized that under M mode, if the shutter speed of GX7 would be anything above 1/1000", the Constant Preview (a function has to be activated by a fn key for the Dof effect, shutter speed effect and off respectively) as well as real time histogram would stay at the value of 1/1000", and it would not be...

So I have the panasonic lumix gf3 model right now and I love it but my daughter who is about to turn 3 has started taking pictures. So I figured since I have a very good knowlege of the ins and outs of cameras but want to stay with mirrorless is the best to go with. I have found several cameras that have peeked my interest and need a push in the right direction. I shoot landscape, pets, and of course my child. If there is a camera i have not mentioned but you highly recommend  please put it...

I do YouTube tech videos which are generally usually based inside, and I decided that I would upgrade to a new camera. What is the best camera that I can find used or refurbished (somewhere) for $200-$275? Here's a list that I made of cameras that I would be able to get for that much used. These are all either Compact SLRs or Full size DSLRs, because I feel as if Dslr's sort of have more "features" and "Customization" with ebing able to shoot in raw, and interchangeable lenses and what not,...

Does anyone have experience using a Dicapac bag with the GF3 and the Panasonic 14mm lens? The WP-ONE is much less expensive ($13) than the WP610 ($37) I see listed as the proper bag in some locations. But I also see the Dicapac site listing the WP-S3 ($68) as the proper bag... I would totally be willing to use the Olympus 15/f8 BCL if it meant I could just use the much cheaper WP-ONE. (Planning to take the camera canoeing, would prefer something more substantial than a ziploc bag--just in...

Hi, I have a GH1 body with these lenses: m43: Panny 14-140mm f/4-5.6, Panny 20mm f/1.7 FD: Elicar 35mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm f/1.8 Universal-to-FD: Soligor 90-210mm f/4 C-Mount: 24mm f/1.4. I'm thinking of picking up a smaller body to be used with the primes, especially the 20mm, so that I actually bring out the camera more often rather than anything else. I do not care about high ISO performance, the highest I ever go is ISO 400, usually ISO-100. Cost being an issue, I am thinking of picking up...

Hi Folks: I want to upgrade from P&S. I saw these 3 cameras on sale (Boxing Day). 1) Panasonic DMC-GF3 with G X Vario PZ 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ($299 Cdn)                                     2) Panasonic DMC-GF5 with G Vario PZ 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 Standard zoom ($299 Cdn)                   3) Sony NEX-5R with 18-55mm Lens ($399 Cdn) I like the GF5 but is the GF3 with the X PZ lens a better deal? Sony 5R at $399 is also very tempting. Any suggestion is appreciated. Fumanchu

Hi All: I am a novice and I have a PS camera Fuji f31. I saw Boxing day sale for Panasonic Lumix mirrorless camera. 1) Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 with G X Vario PZ 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6                                            2) Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 with LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Both cost $299 Cdn. I read a lot of reviews and find the GF5 a slight improvement over the GF3. However, the GF3 comes with the PZ lens (heard it is quirky, though recent Amazon buyers seem to find it ok). Please...
