Hi guys, as some of you will know, I'm not the most technically minded guy on here so I wondered if I might ask (may seem a simple one) a question. Ive taken a few indoor flower photos using both the TZ35 & LX5 and been quite pleased with the results, but never had a go at outdoor shooting.   Now although still a bit breezy today I took these two in my garden. Knelt down elbows resting on the ground to help steady the can with both cams set to burst mode & -2/3 exp, then both cropped with a...

Guys can any of you tell me if it's possible to set the TZ35 iso so it only goes up to 400iso ?,  I can do this on my LX5 but try as I may, I cannot find a way of doing it with the TZ. I"m finding that I'm not as steady as I used to be and getting more blurred snaps than I used to. I have tried setting the iso to  i.iso which gives me a sharper photo but it sometimes can take it right up to 800iso increasing possible noise,,   but then for the kind of photos / viewing I do (on pc /...

This is driving me nuts,,, I'm trying to set the screen on both my TZ35 & LX5 to show the Guide Line as an aid to keeping my photos straight I follow all the steps in the menus, but when I go back to the rear screens the guide line pattern is not showing. Has anyone any idea as to why the guide line will not stay on the screen, or am I doomed to go through life with the sea always running down to one side, ha, ha,,,,, Any ideas would be great. Thanks for looking,...

Some of you guys will know I'm not the most clued up technical wise on cameras so a little help here please. A friend of mine is after a camera for his holidays and saw my TZ35 travel zoom,, he quite liked it but was not to keen on carrying "just a compact",  and says that he had looked on ebay at a 2nd hand FZ150,,       I gave him the DPR web address and he has looked on here at reviews, specs, various posts etc and  came up with this,, The FZ150 would be a better camera  because comparing...

I'm still pretty new with my ZS25 and this weekend I thought I'd try out the video mode for the first time.  I'm sure that I'm doing something wrong as I push the red button on top to begin recording, and push it again to stop and save the recording, but nothing is saved.  If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!!

In a previous post, ( FZ200 just a leaf) I posted a photo that is showing no exif data. I have looked through the camera's menus and can"not see/find any setting that enables me to turn it on ?? Do any of you guys know either,, how to switch this on,, or any other reason for the photo taken with the  FZ not to be showing any data ??. Curious, as photos taken with my other cams ( TZ35 & LX5 ) all show the data,,   is it just a FZ200 thing,,,,,,,,,,, Thanks for looking, rolandb

I attend a lot of concerts and had a lumix zs7 that I loved.  I am not camera savvy and need something easy to set and use.  The zs7 was great because I could set it on ballerina and the pictures were amazing.  The video was always clear too. I recently purchased a zs25 because of the zoom but I'm having trouble finding the right settings for concerts.  The pictures are either blurry or grainy.  Help!

As someone not really up on the technical side of camera's I hope I'm explaining this correctly. I have a new TZ35 and when I take a photo and download it onto the pc it comes out at 4608x3456   5.43mb. Now I"m looking to use a free web resizing programme for when I'm away, so I can email a few photos to friends & family from my old Ee netbook,,      now due to the size (I'm assuming) they either take ages to load or will not load at all. So is the answer to change the size (resolution)...

A neighbor of mine's brother-in law works for Panasonic in Japan and tells him (who told me) that Panasonic is looking at incorporating an eye sensor in the FZ200. I have no way of verifying that has anyone else heard that from a reliable source? I also shoot with a Sony NEX 6 which has that eye sensor and it is very nice to have. I am getting ready for a 3 week trip and plan to take the LF1(if it arrives lin time), the Sony NEX 6 with the power zoom lens and and of course, the FZ200.  If the...

I'm still learning the attributes of my new camera.  One of the things I haven't quite figured out is the depth of field.  i looked it up in the manual, but I still don't see how to work it out. If I want to focus in something in the foreground I thought I would set the aperture to 3.3 and the background would be out of focus.  I think we're I'm going wrong is on how to focus on the item in the foreground to make this happen. Quite honestly, I think I've done a better job of learning...
