I had a DMS-ZS7 which has battery DMW-BDG10PP .  It came with its own charger that plugs directly into the wall.I now also have a new DMC-TZ30 which has battery DMW-BCG10E & charges directly while in camera.I suspect that the batteries are interchangeable  & that either could be charged either way.  Is this the case?I also have 3rd party battery which is Marked PK-DMV-BCG10E.  This battery also says its 3.6v 3800  mAh.  This is strange since the 2 other ones are marked as being only 895mAh....

I just purchased a zs19 and am looking to buy an ac maxx screen protector.  Nobody seems offer a specific one for the zs19/20, probably because it would interfere with the touch screen functions. I would just as soon not have the touch screen functions, so I need to find a panasonic model with the exact same size screen... actually the same size lighted portion of the screen, ignoring the black borders as they do not seem to be uniformly sized. Would anyone here have other panasonic models...

anyone know anything about the successor to the TZ30 (ZS20)? Typically the release dates have been early in the year, each year. Anyone got an official name, specs, price and/or a planned release date?

We're going to Iceland and shooting some long exposure pictures at night. Between us, we have an LX5 (max shutter speed around 4 minutes), ZS7 (60 sec) and ZS20 (15 sec). It seems that there is no way to turn off the long exposure noise reduction on these cameras, effectively halving the number of pictures that we can take, which is particularly annoying when you're trying to shoot the aurora, which can be transitory. I've read of people manually turning their cameras off during the dark...

I'm attempting to install LUMIX Map Data onto my camera (DMC-ZS20). I've installed the "LUMIX Map Tool" on my PC and I've got the install disk installed in the DVD drive. When I run the "LUMIX Map Tool", I keep getting the following error and the program exists:Could not find any map data that can be used with this tool. Please insert an optical disc that contains map data. When I look at the optical disk, I see a folder named MAP_DATA where I presume it should be looking for the data.  This...

Hell everyone, I need a little help deciding on a camera. I currently have a Canon powershot SD1100 IS, which is a few years old (the reason I'm looking to upgrade). It's been a pretty decent camera to me but isn't really cutting it for me for most of my needs.I'm looking for something pocketable (so point&shoot), under $300, decent zoom, with HD video and quality photos.. The main selling point for me is whether or not I can take decent photos & videos at concerts with it. I understand that...
