I've now had my TS4 for over a year. All in all, I'm happy... the limitations have workarounds, and some of the features I've come to appreciate more and more... - As someone noted, the GPS only updates every few minutes. My workaround: I expect the GPS function to record accurate time, not location. I have other GPS devices that record location far more accurately. There are plenty of tools to merge a GPS track with photo data, as long as one has an accurate timestamp for each photo. - What ...

I own a graphic design studio and I've been a professional photographer for over 30 years so I do know a little bit about cameras and lenses. I ordered the TS4 after reading the review of the TS3. Since the TS3 was at the top of its class and the TS4 had only minor changes I expected that I the TS4 would be a tough, waterproof, shockproof camera that took excellent photos. It's definitely tough and all of it's features work as advertised but when it comes to the most important feature of any ...

In spite of bed reviews, this camera has performed flawlessly during a two weeks snorkelling trip The files posses good latitude for post processing, and the results have nothing to complain about. No leakage problems: I think that the cutsomesr that grumblw here just have not paid enough attention to shutting the "door" with a firm click.

I bought it for for time lapse option for professionnal use in meteorology. The time lapse option limits the number of pictures you can take to 60, which is nearly nothing. To keep a daily record you have to set the lapse to 24 minutes and you have to come back each day for programming it again... I did not appreciate this kinf of bad joke from Panasonic.

Buyer Beware! Panasonic will not honor their warranty! I am very distressed that I am forced to post this complaint about Panasonic not honoring their explicit warranty on a Lumix DMC-TS3 “underwater” camera. I am an experienced underwater photographer with three underwater cameras and 9 years experience. I have never had a case leakage or any damage to one of my cameras. I know how to care for expensive camera equipment at the beach and underwater. I purchased a new Lumix DMC-TS3 “underwater ...

I was given the Panasonic TS4 camera in orange for my birthday 2 days ago, I used it for 15 minutes and then the screen went blank. The GPS light is on but nothing else! The problem I have is that it was bought in St.Maarten as a gift, I am in the BVI and now have no warranty!! Problems: Worked for 15 minutes then died

Cool! I can give it less than a star! Thanks! Anyways, I wanted this camera to work out and thought I did the research on the the TS3-4 line of cameras. I read every user review I could and watched and read lots of camera reviews here too. Yes you can put it in your sink and it will work. However if you intend to scuba or snorkel with this understand that there are problems and they are not related to the battery door seal. Somewhere, somehow, this camera leaks. It seems to happen in salt ...

I have FT-1 and FT-3, and Olympus 810. My opinion: FT-1 is the best of these. I consider Panasonic is the best in this category of cameras. IQ of FT-1 absolutely best for everyday life. Does Panasonic has some secret of producing of good IQ on small matrix?
