Hi, Can you please help me choose between the Canon EOS Rebel T3i and Nikon D3200? Which one of them is relatively better for amateur photographer like me? My budget is around $500 - $550, I do mostly outdoor photography and just a little video shooting, I've been using point and shoot cameras like Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ7 and Canon Powershot until now. Thank you.
Hello all, and a quick question on a gorgeous sunny Thursday afternoon here in London. I'm shopping for a compact camera for my father-in-law, and I reckon last year's DMC-SZ7 is great value at £106. I played with the SZ3 and SZ9, and the SZ3 just feels "budget", and the SZ9 is lovely, but £179. Before I pull the trigger on the SZ7, does anyone have any other recommendations? I'm looking at either Panasonic or Canon, and a budget of around £100 (give or take). Thanks!!
I recently bought a used panasonic lumix dmc-sz7 and when I tried to charge the battery, the light did not come on. The battery is low, and it will not charge at all. I don't know what I should do, and I really need to start using the camera right away. I've looked everywhere for answers, but it seems that I am the only person having this problem. Please help!
hi folks! I have just recently bought a lumix dmc-sz7 and have only just got around to testing various functions. my problem is that, testing the video recording aspect with a little spoken dialogue, I have no sound on playback in the camera. I can see no enable/disable option in the menu. can I assume that the camera is faulty? sound on camera functions works okay, so I assume that the speakers are not faulty.obliged for any input/advice
What a wonderful camera, from what I've read and observed so far. The 80 or so pix I have taken today have been great. I am used to manual controls ( usually shoot on AV setting with adjustments as needed on my other cameras.) After scan/reading the 144 page manual, I believe that this camera has many scene modes, but no specific shutter speed/aperture options. Is that correct? If it continues to take such nice shots, I won't need manual controls. I have a Sony A350 for all of that....
