Excellent point and shoot camera. Largeish LCD and easy to remove text when required to see image detail. Image adjustments easily made, chosen settings displayed on LCD. Image stabilisation and long exposure times and high ISO settings allow good images in poor light. Compact and fits shirt pocket so short "idea to image" tiime. Digital zoom is actually useful. Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS1
Brought this camera for my wife since I own a Fuji s9500. After taking a few shots, I was very impressed. When I view the images on the computer monitor, I have to remind myself this is suppose to be only 4 meg pics. very happy with results. The images produced by this camera are good in all usual areas of concern like exposure, color, noise, resolution and sharpness and the image stabilization does work to give about two f-stop advantage for shooting at about ten feet. However, there is no way for me to keep this camera due to the problems stated below so I returned it after having for a week.
